Bring a new purpose to family reunions. If you get together with family during the holiday's plan to strengthen relationships with those that get it. Plan to attend a conference together or make your own mini conference on something, like "How And Where To Get News That Matters To My Family" for example. Evaluate where you are at as a family, exploit your strengths and firm up those weaknesses, etc. Trust me, it takes a long time to do this and can be discouraging, but it is better than nothing. Some of the young men have shown me profiles of women they've been corresponding with on supposed Christian dating apps such as Christian Mingle, E-Harmony and Upward. Most of the young women list themselves as "Non-Denominational" or "spiritual but not religious" (whatever that even means). Most of the young women are woke, and their conversations are no different than the average party girl out there. Some of the young men have tried Hinge and have had equally bad experiences. Our priest advises the young men to stay off these dating apps. I agree 💯. I don't know what to tell younger men out looking for a mate today. Things were no cake walk back in the day for average men, but todays 🤡 world of dating is a different end of the swamp.
