    You realize fruit has a lot of sugar right?

      Yea but these fruits were recommended by my doctor in moderation and balanced with protein and fats

      Apples and blueberries are low on the GI. They will actually help to lower your blood sugar due to high fibre content.
      bananas on the other hand will spike blood sugar. Just research which fruits are low GI and pair it with healthy fat, fibre and protein and you'll be okay.

      The fruits she was eating do not spike your blood sugar. It’s not about sugar as a whole.
