It took a while for even McCartney to sing a song from Lennon as a solo artist. It was the coolest thing, though.
John and Paul were Siamese: They loved each others shit. So much so that it was part of their own singing sessions.
There must surely be scope to expand this into episodes in a series, whether on TV, radio or internet (I've forgotten the name of when someone records a 'radio' like episode and puts it on iTunes), as lanceoftheloc has suggested. How about when The Beatles split up, as part of the settlement, John and Paul are made to go to a marriage guidance counsellor, which neither of them want to do. Of course, the counsellor would have to be Freddie Mercury. Stevie must have done something like this already, as a short video, but you can expand these into TV episodes with some kind of a sub-plot going on. x

There's actually video of this. I have a crap copy of it on a VHS somewhere. It's funny to hear it, but it's funnier to see. At one point you can see Harry Nilsson is passed out on the floor.

I have heard john do skits of Yoko's music too. He skreeches in a high pitch tone.... then he compared that with a mocking take of a beatles records by groaned in low warbles. He sounds drunk here. But he can take the micky out of Paul's stuff because Paul is family to john. And this is a private party they are just acting Beatle daft. Then there is the clip of John promoting his book and George starts to rip it up! I would NEVER do that! Beatles kept each other down to earth. John had no reason to be jealous, He is just a daft guy being silly. That's John. He always said he would rather have been in Monty Python than the Beatles. He has that way of humour.
