Thank you for this topic. Retirement is another phase of life.-really encouraging. I am 60 and this helped me change my perspective on retirement.

My older colleagues laughed at me when I attended a free "planning for retirement" seminar, aged 30. But I would rather know if I am on track BEFORE I get within reach of retirement, so I can alter my behaviour accordingly

This is such a good topic. I’m in my late 40s and have been losing sleep lately and having lots of anxiety around the fact that I’ve waited too long to save for retirement…I feel so much more hopeful now! Thank you!!

Most of us have started late in saving (I started at 40) so this kind of content is sooooooo valuable and relevant! Thank you!!! ❤

Bola, I took your recommendation that after 1000 was saved for emergency to aggressively pay debts.
I have a little more than that. So, I'm paying down debt by the smallest first.
I can't believe I'm going to pay off my first smallest loan in one sum 1,342 with no regret, I feel freedom.from just the decision.
And I'm waiting on your investing and side hustle book.
I have a pension, but I just started the enrollment application for a 401k and 457. Do you recommend an IRA. I'm 50

Invest in EFT or index funds. Roth 401k or Roth IRA - Invest in real estate - If you don't want to buy property, try crowdfunding - for example Fundrise(please know that you will not have access to your money for at least 5 years).
I I have a Roth 401k from my full and part -time jobs. I have a Roth IRA where I invest in ETS and REITS. I also have a Fundrise and Yieldstreet account. My goal is to have at least 100000 in each account and live off of that in retirement.
If you are a beginner investor, I would suggest invest in VOO(Vanguards SP 500). Put 50 to 100 a month if you can. Over time you will see results.
Also if you company offers a Health SAvings Plan for medical expenses, take that option and invest your money.

Ideally you want to apply similar principles and find an equivalent in your country. Speak to people locally that are where you want to be and find out what safe investment vehicles they are using
