how did it go?
Ladies thank you so much for all this information on savings. I am 56 years of age and am working on being debt free? Work on a full time job and doing door dash and Instacart to pay off debt!
I love the Door Dash accomplishment.
Happy Sunday- As I see the sun shining- I no longer just see the sun as a ball of warmth and light. I now see it as " That God is a reminder", " that he is with us- no matter what".
Our state was affected by the bad snow storm causing me and many others- to be without lights for four days. I didn't leave my place- I did have hot water to shower and still go to work. I was creative and used my battery operated lamps. I lost my food- but not my life. I ate the foods that I know would not require refrigeration and became creative.
In the days without light- I was able to connect with myself and God as I sat in the evening and connected to Gods presence. In those long days- I also learned that I was not able to spend and that made me realize that I can survive this and my debt free journey ahead. I thanked God after the lights went on- and was filled with grace and reminders that God is with me.
Thank you for this ladies. I love this Channel so much. It is helping so much. And makes me now realize I don't need that $200 pair of boots right now. I can go get away with finding a cute pair at target or even wal-mart for now 😇

Roommate.
Put bubble wrap on your windows to save electric.
Limit the amount of time the outside door is opened.
Close off vents in rooms you don’t use and close the door.
Use a slow cooker and freeze extra portions.
Take frozen meal from freezer night before use, place in fridge to thaw, evening of use warm in slow cooker if it uses less energy than microwave.
Cook inexpensive meals like Lentils & Brown Rice casserole ($1.75 for 4 servings), Oatmeal (from canister, not individual packets) milk/water 1 tbsp jam $0.40 a serving. Fried Rice from home ($1.60 serving) $0.30 food for the day = $0.44+$0.40+$0.30+$0.12 (1/2 banana)=$1.26 a day. $1.26x7(days)=$8.82 week or $1.26x30days=$37.80 month.
Senior centers offer free lunch, but will take money if you can afford. Consider using a food bank for a short time.
Clever Girl Finance I just finished Nursing school and I owe the school 8,000. I believe as long as I owe them they won’t release my associates Degree. What’s the best approach and what time frame should I look at paying them off.
You'd need to contact your school to come up with an agreement.
that’s insane why tf do they do that when you could be paying them off much faster if you had your degree to land a nursing job? 🤦🏾♀️
I will save $10 bills
PICK ME, PICK ME. I hate reading, but you guys are adorable I’ll read it. I promise. It might take me months lol. I’m in Phoenix, Arizona.
