    Today's Scripture: Luke 14:28-29
    Today's Affirmation: "I am a thoughtful and strategic planner who counts the cost and prepares wisely for the future. I embrace the discipline of budgeting and saving; understanding prudent and financial planning leads to success and completion of my goals. With God's wisdom guiding me, I am confident in my ability to manage resources effectively ensuring that I can finish what I start, to build a stable and prosperous future."

      Bae I've been there. Payday loans are very dangerous and risky They owe you like nobody's business. The passage of Luke 14: 28-29 is heavy. Finish what you start. Also have you ever watched Till Debt Do Us Part & Princess with Gail Vaz Oxlade. She is a wizard with helping folks. She is a Scottish Lass whose family may have been Slaves in Jamaica. She lives in Toronto, wrote bestselling books and although she has had her share of success wih couples, others don't listen.

    I remember when I used to spend $300-$500 at the club bi-weekly. Then seen that I made $80k that year with no saving. That's when I changed my mind set, then save to purchase a home 2 years after.

    One habit that’s helped me throughout the years is I pay half of my rent and half of my car payment as soon as I get paid so that money is out of the account usually by the next day. Also have a my bi weekly grocery budget direct deposited into a separate account helps tremendously.

    Yes budgeting prevents overspending but when starting out, tracking your spending keeps you accountable so you can see your habits on paper, so if you are overspending on food, or clothes, or entertainment you know what areas to cut back on or what areas you could spend more on..

In the current cultural landscape, the difficulty lies in discerning the opportune moments to buy or sell when dealing with trending stocks. I agree with everything Anthony just said. We definitely have to get back into the routine of budgeting. The only thing that I don't agree with is the tithing. Where I "tithe" depends on what's in your pocket. It should come from the heart. There is no set percentage for tithing. If one month you want to give $10 that's between you and God, if another month you want to give $1,000, that's between you and God. I don't believe giving tithe to build another mans house or pay for his cars. It should be given to the work that is supporting the building that's already built, which includes utilities. It should be used to help communities that are suffering from a disaster. I refuse to support the pastor and his "wives". Thank you for the information, this was a great reminder of what we should be doing with our monies! Blessings🤛🙏

However there is a disclaimer in your description box, as well as on the Chime graphic that you show, that states that Chime is not a bank. Will you please explain exactly what it is in layman's terms? There is some famous person who says 'explain it to me like I'm a kindergartener'. You don't have to go THAT low, however I need to understand it clearly. Thank you.

      @jamuq3589 7 місяців тому +2

      In the description of this video it says Chime is a financial technology company (a FinTech). Basically it runs the Chime app and provides customer service. If you use Chime then your money is actually in a bank account ONLY FOR the purposes of keeping your money FDIC insured. For whatever reason federal laws and regulations (specifically FDIC regulations) have not yet been revamped by Congress so that a completely online FinTech like Chime can get its own ABA routing number and FDIC insurance. The ABA routing number on your Chime Account will tell you which bank. With Chime that will be either Stride Bank or Bancorp Bank. Chime has partnered with them to the extent of being able to provide Chime customers with an FDIC insured account number. However if you physically went to a Stride Bank or Bancorp Bank or called their toll free customer service numbers you would not be able to get any service. You are solely a Chime customer and have to communicate directly with Chime. It's all virtual, there is no physical bank you can go to. This is why there are less costs of banking with FinTechs vs actual banks because the FinTechs have low overhead. Therefore with virtual banking (or rather online banking with a FinTech) there is no physical branch and any cash you want to deposit you'll have to search high and low to find a deposit location (Walgreens if the FinTech you're with is Chime). Or you could have an account with a local brick and mortar bank to deposit cash and electronically send it to Chime (or whatever fintech you're with). But of course the local bank might not have completely free checking/savings. I hope this makes sense.

      Flexible budget. Don't make it complicated.... What do you have left after you pay all of your bills. Then look at the bills and cut all the waste. Then budget what's left to emergency savings investment business

    I have a question. Say you have multiple streams of income and you pay your tithes off of all streams except one you take that 10% and give it away to help others. do you see that as being OK to do because you are using it to be a help to others?

    Anthony I live in the Bay Area (Ca) which is very expensive. Your paying a mortgage but you live in a apt like most Californians. 50 to 59. thousands a year will be snatched up by rent only.....the cost of living out weighs your pay check...no excuse all reality.

    Hey I love your vids, so informative...so have you discussed the taxes that's paid on interest gained in high yield savings accounts? Do you file on your taxes and pay tax on that interest? I'm searching for clarity, help... 😊
