It would be handy if you all shipped a test box of all of these to every skate shop so that people could figure it out instead of having to order several sets only to find out they don't fit (which most people are not going to mess with, even most people running skate shops probably have never heard of this).
It would be even more handy (I know, a bit idealistic/ a lot to ask) if y'all shipped a case like that + just a few, like 4-8 wicked spacers + a cheap digital caliper. Honestly you'd sell a lot more spacers in the long run. People who hate clicks could put in the wickeds, measure it on the caliper and either buy some wickeds or know which spacers to get.
It would be useful to show what to look for in spacers when intending to change wheels and or bearings. What spacer length is good for what wheels with what bearings, etc. Is there a chart for Powerslide branded wheels with this info, at least? :D
It’s almost impossible to do this because each injection mold tool for the wheel cores is slightly different and has a tolerance. The same goes for bearings and spacers which all have their own tolerances too. So with these combinations together, it makes it almost impossible to quantify and give accurate information. this is why finding the perfect spacer for the wheels you are riding is so essential.
My wheels have side to side play. can a wider spacer fix this problem? Or maybe I need a narrower spacer... I got the powerslide R6 with stock infinity wheels and they seem to have silver spacers of 10,0mm or maybe 10,05mm...
Very informative ✌️ 👌 so we should make sure the spacers are not making noise which means they are small, at the same time the bearings should fit well inside the hub, if they are sticking out then the spacer is too long?
If wheel is spinning freely while screw is loose and stops after you tighten the screw then you have a problem with spacer. If you cannot buy such precision spacer you can always fit them with additional rings made from aluminium cans (like beer ones) with scissors. It's worse to have too short spacer then too long.
Hi @Powerslide Inline skates "How to measure that inside distance between the bearings? How to choose an appropriate width of spacers?" Maybe by set to the wheel "the wicked adjustable spacer" and measuring the width of it after?
@@PowerslideInlineskates - Yes, You have right. But in this way I need to have a lot of different spacers (if not all of them) and a lot of time for testing it after one by one. ... yes it can happen because in wheel production there is a tolerance and sometimes it's making a little noise becasue spacer are always the same here. That is why it's always nice to have some extra spacers with different sizes. It's also then improving a bit the roll of your skates. Pascal Briand
I am still unsure of how to tell which spacer will work best. Is it a case of having all four sizes and using trial and error or is there a measurement process that I can use?
yes you can find tool to measure it but they are quite expensive. I mostly recommand to get various size of spacers and test wheels by wheels to get the best performance as even with measuring tools sometimes it's also not perfect still. Pascal Briand
@@PowerslideInlineskates May I additionally ask, is it always the frame width that dictates the spacer size or does the wheel contribute too? I ask because today I put on a new set of wheels with the same spacers I had been using to find that some of the wheels are resistant to movement when I tighten their axles.
@@AlanosaurusRex - Each wheel even from one package of wheels could need a different width of spacers. Many tech people said that before. So You need to choose spacer with apropriate width for each wheel seperately.
I had a bad rattle with new next 110 . After 2 months of messing around I changed the Spacers for a set out of my old skates from another brand ( they are straight without the stupid guidance wing ) problem solved. Can you please explain why the rattle has disappeared? Thanks in advance.
Hi Doug, sadly, a tolerance of a praction of a millimeter in spacers can cause noises and rattles. Sometimes a spaces is just too wide by the tiniest amount. Switching to another spacer (as your case) seems to solve the issue, though.
We can not really say this as we do not know the K2 wheel dimensions. One guess would be our wicked size adjustbale spacers, but those are probably more expensive than those wheels.

yes exactly , wider spacer should solve the problem. It can happen sometimes to time. It's always good to have different spacers size in hand.

best is just to try and check the spin one by one till you are happy with it.

which spacer is suggested for Matter G13 CHR?
we generally use the silver one here but it's good to have few differente sizes to be able to adjust in case.
which of those spacer are good for 100mm wheels ???
What's spacers does Undercover wheels need?
uc aggro wheels need the small ones due to the stronger core, which takes more inside space. the bigger wheel sizes use normal ufo 8mm spacers.
