Ryan thanks for stopping by my shop .... but on funny note i never understood why people say I have "accent" until I saw myself on camera, WOW it sounds like I came off a boat yesterday and i been here for more than 30 years... in any case if you ever need any help (close by or far away) or advice regarding mechanical work you have my number don't hesitate to call .... wish you all the best...great video by the way
Appreciate it man. Thanks for taking the time to look at it :)

Great guy, you should start your own youtube channel man. You such a lively personality
you're the man!!!
I can't say it enough man, your videos are some of the best stress relievers ever. So chill, consistent, and quality. You help me a lot, and I'm sure others can agree. Thanks, Ryan!
Haha I thought I was the only one! His videos honestly calm me as well.
Love comments like this. I appreciate you ❤
I agree. Love the videos.
Agreed. I long for living on the road like Ryan and helps in quenching that thirst.
for a long time I started my mornings, watching his videos. His "good morning" was a way to put an smile on my face for the rest of the day :3
Thank you for telling people to be respectful of these overnight places and to clean up. So many places are getting ruined these days
always a good day when ryan drop's a video
That’s facts
Oh my God the mechanic actually watched the channel before! How cool is that?? Haha! Thanks for another great video!
Awesome to see you promote that mechanic and put him on the show! Props to also talk about keeping Stealth camping spots clean.
Had to, he was awesome
That’s so dope the mechanic watches your videos
Perfect timing, I just finished binge watching all your videos this morning after finding this channel a couple of weeks ago. I really enjoy your adventures. It looks like you get to see lots of cool places.
Emission equipment is warrantied for 80,000 miles just in case you need it. My Tacoma threw similar codes before the catalytic converter ejected honeycomb bits throughout my exhaust system.
A tip for you and your fans... if the check engine light is on continuously, then it is okay to drive until you can get an appointment at a shop. If the check engine light is flashing, it is something more serious, and you need to stop driving asap until you can get the car into a shop. Also, most auto parts stores will read your check engine error codes for you for free. That can help you decide whether to drive your car, or not.
Thank you Glenn! Appreciate it!
Thanks!
I really like your van customization, so elegant and look like so comfortable. The fact that van fits gaming setup is just amazing.
You are a very respectful and good Guy!!! Wish more people in the world were like you! You are one of a kind alrighty! A great person that makes people happy 😊❤!!!
Might be a good idea to run a couple bungee cords around the fridge to keep the door closed when driving. Some things can be a heck of a time to clean up.
Glad you found an honest mechanic
Hey Ryan, they make a simple little latch that mounts to the top of the fridge and Hooks over the front of the door to keep it shut. You just push it up with your thumb when you want to open the door. It's simple and it works!
Thanks for the reminder for people to be respectful guests when stealth camping. Every camping channel I follow both here and in Europe have been saying the exact same thing recently. Why do the few always have to ruin it for the many? Keep up the great work, Ryan!
I think the little critter was a pocket gopher, not a mouse or ground squirrel. If caught outside a mound/tunnel they will go around baring their teeth at scary things like that. They are everywhere here in the South Bay. If you find your way up here in the next few days Cuesta Park is a good overnight spot. Mountain View is one of those towns that has passed ordinances against street parking/stealth camping because of the number of RVs parked on the roadsides. It's not so much the van-lifers - they are pretty cool and keep to themselves for the most part. It's the homeless crowd in RVs that have made it challenging here. My only request to folks staying overnight - especially in one of the parks - is to put food waste in trash cans and not on the parking lot next to your car and also don't leave behind piss bottles - I mean, ewww. We're van folks as well we're just not on the road right now...
Thank you for showing your busy day taking care of business. Keep safe.
That could also happen when you run on a batch of bad fuel. You can put in a higher octane your next fuel stop to help burn off the deposits in the cat
Make sure your gas cap is on tight I’ve had that sensor come on because air was getting in the tank because it wasn’t tight enough One time just had to twist it Other time it was the sensor itself
Good luck !
❤ Fisherman's Wharf and Cannery Row. I try to go whenever I'm in Monterey/Carmel on a long overnight. Miss it soon much
I used to not be able to grow a mustache or beard well. The BEST tip i was ever told, was to shave it often. Really. A full beard takes me now 2 weeks, but a mustache and goatee tajes a week maybe 10 days to be be FULL.
Really shave it often, every other week.
I wash my face every morning. It's super refreshing and helps wake me up. I get it!
I really love your video Ryan you are so down to earth. Your videos are so informative and entertaining. Thank you
I use to live in Monterey, so beautiful.
At the Jiffy Lube missed an opportunity to make fun of their commercials…telling them they were so fast you didn’t even find a place to stay for the night lol
It takes a lot of balls to do what you're doing, Ryan, especially being true to who you are and doing exactly what you want. I have so much respect for that, and hope to be out there on the road in a similar fashion sometime. I'm a native Californian, and have been in many of these areas you're exploring now. Love seeing it all through your eyes. Please keep the content coming, and safe travels :)
The transition from night to day time at min 14:33 was smoothly keep up the good work , i look forward to live the Van/camper lifestyle one day , stay safe ✌️
Your so funny bro “is there anything on my face” I love your humor and you videos man you gotta be the realest person on UA-cam just by being genuine!
Ya soon as they get dirty they trigger but u can go till inspections due for check engine light❤
My mind is blown…I love Monterey and that clam chowder!
It is good to get to visit with you again so soon...I love clam chowder but living in AZ doesn't allow me the pleasure of having it as often as I would like since it is rare to find a place that serves it. I agree with you that people don't take care of what is around them and because of them, more and more restrictions are placed on those that do care! Have a great day!
Aww you are in my old stomping ground! Yep the best chowder on the wharf. I am a sailboat racer; I hope you checked out the sailboats while there!
Congratulations hitting over 214,000 new subscribers well done
Thank you :)
Always loved visiting Monterey but haven’t been back for years. I agree, that clam chowder is the best I’ve had as well 😍
Another great episode Ryan! Stay safe out there.
I'm so happy you posted🎉🎉😊!!!! I love your content so very much...be safe out there 🙏
Me too.
should do more touristic tours, park the van and go take some public transportation, subways n stuff, if u can. started watching u few days ago. good guy, liking ur content. hugs from Brazil.
Depeche Mode "Enjoy the Silence" in that coffee shop at the end, nice, did you hear any other songs on that playlist? My kind of coffee shop.
Thank you Ryan. And I hope you are feeling better
Love Monterey! I was born in Salinas and raised in Prunedale not too far from there.
Awesome that you came out to Monterey, it's pretty chill here and beaches are prime towards Carmel.
If you are in S California goto Wasabi Auto Repair they do excellent work! I have been going a couple of years now and I have been extremely happy.
being from the DMV area I absolutely love watching your videos I find them to be very very relaxing to me thanks for always taking us along on your journey
Ooh I heard my favorite band, Depeche Mode, at the end!
Im a Central Valley Guy from Fresno, out of all the beach towns us Valley People like to visit its either Monterey or Pismo for the best getaway. Thank you for the video Ryan!
Love your content it's really organic no BS look at doing van life well.
San Juan Bautista is also a really cool small town a little up north of Monterey with a lot of history and cool things to see it’s has some pretty good restaurants too like Don Esters and JJs Burgers and has some cool missions to check it out you’ll definitely enjoy it
How cool, the mechanic knew who you were and was subscribed. I love your videos, you my friend are living large ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Glad to see a new vid! when i saw the title i got worried it would be a silent video i'm not a fan of those i like when you talk in them and narrate whats happening hhaha
he gives off pedro pascal vibes and im here for it!
Thought i was the only one!
I know, right? I thought it was just me who was thinking he looks like The Mandalorian! 🚀😂
This is the way.
Thank you Ryan . Love your Vlog. Happy whenever you post a new one. Take your time. Two videos a week is good for us. Much love and respect. Kinda live through you . Wish I could do what you’re doing. Have a blessed day.
If I could live anywhere in the world, Monterey would be on my short list. It such a pleasant town. Perfect weather. And gorgeous views all over. Best city in California, hands down.
Love the consistency of these videos, its so clean how you are legit on the road and release multiple videos a week, plus you edit them yourself. Well in son
Ryan, recently found your channel… massive fan! Do yourself a favor and make sure to use BG Products with your oil changes and any vehicle maintenance needs with your home (van). You’ll be astonished with their lifetime protection plan. If you have any questions, let me know, I would love to explain it to you. I’d hate to see you have any vehicle problems.
Keep up the amazing content as I live vicariously through you! Be safe
I used to go to Monterey every year for Monterey Car Week in August. I love that place. But don't go there during car week unless you are a car and racing nut, like me. It is packed! There will be nowhere to park, and a room at Motel6 will cost you at least $300 a night. There is a cool British Pub near Portola Plaza that is great when you are traveling alone. It is easy to strike up a conversation at the bar.
Ok, never mind, I was not that far into the video and you gave the name. Thank you!
I’m hooked.
Learning some cooking ideas from you.
Really like your videos .
Avid fan from Vancouver , British Columbia , Canada 👍
Yoooo those mints you got in that shop! Use to get those ALL the time as a kid! Glad someone else enjoys them too!
So excited when video pops up Another good one 😊
That montage was the best montage ive seen in a vlog.
Just found your channel on a search....I am already a fan...great video now I have to watch all your past videos...
It's good to see you Ryan, I'm a big fan.
The apex dub was the icing on the cake🎉
Fantastic, I will be in Monterey in July.....Sand Dabs and now the bread bowl and those mints are on my list!!!
I've always found the best mechanics while traveling. Can't find a good honest one at home to save my life!
Ryan!!! Stop in Santa Cruz, you’ll love it, I swear!
What I like about your vids is that are honest. I really feel like we see the ave dude living an ave life in a van. I think it's good content.
I agree
Keep them coming, “CAMP KING!”
Me and my dad just visited there and went whale watching!! I had the same clam chowder bowl and it was phenomenal!!!! So crazy people going to places that you have also been ❤
Love the video. Ryan one automotive advice id give is don't get oil changes at those type of places. As much as I don't like to recommend the dealership (bc of cost) I'd do that or a local auto shop. You'll read hundreds of horror stories about going to places like those quick oil shops.
Spud Point Crab Company in Bodega Bay makes some great chowder as well! If you’re ever on the Sonoma Coast!
Very relaxing episodes bud like your lifestyle :) keep them coming
actually having O2 sensor issue this week as well, but it's on bank 1 sensor 1...this one is out of my comfort zone to do it on my own.
I'm from California and yes we some really good clam chowder. There's really clam chowder in San Francisco too.
Come to Salinas CA it’s right near Monterey they have some nice spots like torro park or point lobo come check it out man i recommend 🤙🤙
If I knew you were in Monterey, I'd hook you up with a place to stealth w/ parking pass; that's a couple blocks from the beach/aquarium/fisherman's wharf.
Brilliant advice Ryan if you planning to live this lifestyle be as respectful as possible and don't leave trash laying around! Better than I could say it!
Thanks, Ryan. You do a helluva job.
I know I'm late watching this and commenting on it, Ryan, but I am going back to watch older episodes after watching all the newer ones first. Next time you are on the pier there in Monterrey, be sure to look for the sea otters, swimming on their backs. I mean, they are going backward doing the backstroke, and you can sit in the restaurants and watch them. It's almost like they know they are putting on a show for us land lubbers. 🤭
If by chance you drive through Washington state. Look up Ivar's Fish and Chips. Stop to get some clam chowder. They have several restaurants in the Seattle/Everett area.
Ryan, I enjoyed the 1 min play between 10:15 - 11:15; very groovy!
Lol 😂 that’s so cool you ran into someone that follows you love watching all your videos!!
That ending with Enjoy the silence, awesome ahahaha. Always nice to watch one of you're videos, hoping to do that kind of lifestyle too. Stay safe brotha.
You keep sporting the Yosemite hat! I ❤ it. I grew up outside south gate Yosemite
Knew you were going to that place for chowder! I used to get chowder there all the time. Thanks for showing us Cali. ❤
wow. that was my childhood vacation spot for the summer. go to the beach and the pier in Monterey and we ate clam chowder bowls and got candy at the same place you did! great memories! I remember there being a monkey at the pier too.
Bro love watching your vids I’m new to your channel but you bring much entertainment keep it up
Finally first man, great content my guy. Keep up the good work.
OMG I freakin love those candy! I also love the Sunkist fruit gems but they’re expensive!😢
Secondary o2 sensor tells car how much fuel or gas to mix based on the reading its getting from the exaust after your cat. So if its not functioning right it could run rich or lean
That's Monterey. I Grew up right on that corner next to those tennis courts!
Monterey is literally awesome. You should check out Carmel if you have the time and haven’t left the area yet.
Man I love the places you go. Always looking for more b safe
You were close to my neighborhood 😂
Just binged watched this guy and i cant wait to see his next video
Bula from Fiji 🇫🇯...enjoyed your video 😊
I see a lot of truckers wrapping their seat belts around their door handle then clicking it in. So even if someone is able to pick the lock they still cant open the door or it at least buys time to react. Not sure if its possible in your vehicle. Just food for thought and a little extra security.
Glad your check engine light issue was a one off. Looks like a lovely day in Monterey to wipe clam chowder off your face. I don't know what that tiny rodent was, but judging from the bark, bark there were sea lions and a seal. Thanks for making a thoughtful message about respectful city street camping for all.
Lol...Blow their minds out there Ryan. Ask for a "Pork roll Egg and Cheese on a hard roll with SPK!" But I don't know if you even know what it is? IT'S DELISH! A Jersey thing. :)
