I really like the partially lathed one you made, great bell to have on a cymbal like that! I love the look of partially unlathed cymbals and I love the ones that bring trashy sounds in a way that is also controlled and not annoying! I especially like that sound in hi hats. Looking forward to seeing what you do in this line!

Love that one that’s got the lathing under, on the bell and at the edge! Still got that dark smoky sound, but a nice brilliance at the same time!

Honestly some of the best sounds you’ve made - super versatile - with modern recording practices a cymbal with a little bit of top end roll off built in to it fits nicely with how folks like to compress these days

This might be my favorite series! All this companies just churn out super dry cymbals for the sake of it. This however lets some breath come through. Love the 2nd one the most. Very well done!

I love the 22" 2277gr (especially the crash sound) but I prefer the lathed big bell of the other one. About sizes, I could imagine a set made by 17", 19" and 21" + 14 hi hat with lathed bottom sides. It's just an idea. Great job!

I think the one which is sold is the best 2309g. Perfect dark sound

Very nice and interesting. So someone else is the happy owner of the 2300 grams Acacia? It sounds fantastic to me. The 2200 g that you play so fine on, too. I agree about the dryness (earthy?) and more low volume oriented / acoustic character of these thinner unlathed cymbals. I have an Istanbul Agop 22” Turk Jazz Ride of that kind. Nylon tips and one steel rivet to brighten it up. Inspiring behind a horn, especially trumpet or flugelhorn.

WTF do you mean "unlathed but still cool"?!
    Unlathed cymbals are the best.

They're not really my thing, typically, but some are cool!
