The video doesn't really do them justice! I sure felt much smaller standing at the bottom Haha! It's crazy how much these trees have changed just in my lifetime. I don't remember all the scars on them when I used to hang out in this park. I figured you would enjoy seeing this. Thanks for watching Nigel!😄

I'm glad you enjoyed it! There is so much beauty here! This is a very tiny portion! I went to a place called Ouimet Canyon. I also did some hiking in some videos. One hike I went into a section of old growth Poplar forest. You might enjoy those too. Thanks for watching!

Has the pink seed pod phenomenon hit your Maples? The old timer by me has all tan with a few with hues of pink in the tail section. Seen 3 hreen leaf Maples with all deep pink pods so far. Single pods. Really cool. Scientists say weather & climate change seem to be causing this.

I'll watch for it! I remember many years ago we had pink seed pods. It was when the tent caterpillars went through and ate all the leaves. The trees didn't grow new leaves till late summer. The the seed got hit by cold before they were ripe and looked pink.

@@FrostBiteBonsai These are all ripe and a deep pink on some of them. The old one next door by me, has to be over 100 years old, has all tan except for some that have the pink hue on the tail section. It will be interesting if this develops by you.

Are you going to buy your puppy dog the book: A tree grows in Brooklyn? Or A Tree Grows in Canada?
