Weird....I actually like the hat a lot😂
Great reviews, I really appreciate all the work you put into your content!
Why did I think the Core SS review would be boring...
Just the hat rant alone. Your reviews are truly helpful.
Gotta say the first bowtech I shot was last years speed bow and I was so amazed at how consistent it was without a sight and how smooth it was at 70 pounds and will definitely purchasing a bowtech hands down my favorite on the market I’m in tn and we don’t have a lot of bowtech dealers so thankfully I found one kinda close I’m excited to shoot and purchase my first bowtech it’s probably gonna be this one!!!
Dude, your comment about Bowtech's hats that come with the bow is so spot on. It made me laugh. Those hats are ugly. They're too small for an adult head, and they're scratchy. Otherwise, we love you Bowtech!
Facts…. I have a small head , therefore I like structures hats. I get free hats all the time , and it’s always the loose unstructured mesh backs , and I’m like you can keep it , they insist I take it… and it goes straight in the trash.
Just found your channel. Im hoping to upgrade this year and really like what im seeing with this bow.
The hat rant was incredible 😂😂
😂
For real. I just bought a core SS today. I have an XL head so it was a no go. But my wife has a normal head and it was tight in her. Shit is made for a child. lol
Many years ago I shot a Hoyt and I took a long break from Archery. Really eyeballin’ the Bowtech Core SS!
Yep get those stinking hats outa here. Good call, great review
One of the best bows for 2024 no doubt. I do pull 27.5 - 28” and appreciate the performance side. However you can always build an arrow to get the speeds you want. Love the channel brother 👍🏻👍🏻
One question… have you shot the bowtech SX80?
Nothing shoots like a bowtech!
I believe if you looked at the sound wave, you would see that your decibel reader is recording the arrow hitting your target, not necessarily the sound of the bow itself. Recording at longer distances may prove to give you lower sound readings b/c the reader may not pickup the sound of the arrow hitting the target as much.
Had a choice between this and the Solution SS, for $800 less (here in Australia anyway) went with the solution just couldn't justify the extra money. Love the reviews, you did sell me on the SS.👍
Those new graphics are 🔥🔥🔥
One of the best channels bar none for bows. Ive been a hunter for 30+ years (rifle) then a few years ago i bought a mathews dxt and instantly got hooked. Wish i had got on the bow train long time ago! Then this last year i was looking to upgrade and came across a carbon zion with a trophy ridge digital react site, qad drop away, tight spot quiver etc... for cheeaaap! (600cdn) and barely shot. Now in your opinion would this bow be worth the upgrade considering my level of experience in archery/hunting. Thanks for everything you do to keep us all informed.
Definitely worth the upgrade yea , necessity no those carbons by Bowtech seem to last if it’s still performing keep it, the core ss would def be a nice change and I think it’s perf for a someone with your level of experience and very simple to learn and work on yourself
Another great review! Thanks Brandon...just curious what type of camera you use to shoot your videos?
Long mod it in comfort and get the best of both worlds man!
Bear Archery Hats:
“Hold my Beer”
Good review man, I really want to love the bowtech and I know it's give or take.. If you want comfort you sacrifice speed; if you want speed you sacrifice comfort.. Why cant we just have both lol. If I could stay at 280 at 28.5"/70lbs with this bow id hop on it, but I think at my DL it's just gonna be pretty slow :(
I’m still wanting to give that ss34 a test run!!
I’ve shot the SR but I finally shot the SS tonight and it’s incredible, haven’t owned a bowtech YET but it’s the best flagship of the year imho. Now I’m taking a look at the SS34 as well. I wish the core ss was a 33/34 I kinda feel like they did the SS and SR backwards on ATA length
I think I heard you say you work at a bow shop on weekends. If I heard that right is it in the Stl area. I’m trying to find a good pro shop. Bought my last bows at Dunns. Not in love with the bow shop there. Love the store though.
Have you shot the bow without the orbit dampeners and what was the difference? Also, do the dampeners have any impact on how quite the bow is? Thanks and enjoy your content.
I wish they would’ve gone with a pic rail instead but I wonder if they’ll be coming out with a core lock stabilizer like Mathews did with bridge lock
Very nice man, great review! I need to go shoot the SS!
Had the revoltx lived it, only issue was the grip. Got the high wrist and helped out. Confused on your appeal score. Your not a fan, but you scored it high 9/10?
You should do a video on arrow setups for whitetail and/or pigs!
Did one for whitetail check it out, pigs might go a little heavier on front in and run a fixed blade over mechanical
Brandon I just picked up the new Darton Consequence mid price, it is sweet, you should think about a review for that one, worth every cent !
Yes got two from Darton coming
Also I hope you get the new beat persist in
For the guy who has had major shoulder injuries and a major surgery and new to bow hunting (age 52) would you recommend the core ss 60# draw weight runed down with room to improve ir a Mathews image maxed out at 50#?
How would you compare a Core SR 60# on performance or a 70# on comfort and what is the speed difference
Could you possibly do a review on the bear cruzer g3
I like to see Bowtech do some aggressive stuff AGAIN like the Insanity and 36O PLUS REALM SR ETC.... THAT NUST MY PERSONALITY..I am thinking an Expidition or maybe APA... I SHOOT sledgehamners.. i do not play around with 100 or 110 grain broad heads.. GIVE me that arrow penetration with an aggressive bow... I want to break $#!+ 😂 when i hit my mark..
Looks like Bowtech went back to the extreme wrap around cable ends.
Now that you shot both the Core SS and Lift what would you choose if you could only have 1? I am looking for a bow to set up for 95% 3D.
So, between the Core SS, the Elite Ethos, and the Prime Ronan...which bow do you think you'd choose?
Does the ss have limb stops or string stop? How about the cp30?
Ever since you talked about the solution ss, I’ve wanted one, but they’re hard to find. Is this one as smooth as solution ss?
No but gets better speeds and I feel worth the trade still butter just not as effortless
At 50 yards you said it didn’t hold as well as you were hoping it would. Does that mean at 50 yards and longer it won’t be as accurate as other bows within that axle to axle range?
Good stuff man!! Can you possibly do the new bear paradigm? Im a longer draw guy looking for good inexpensive back up to my v3x. Would like to get your review on it. Keep up the great videos! 🔥
👍🏹🎯
Do you think the draw cycle is better (smoother) then Hoyt? due to shoulder injury I am all ways looking at draw cycle.
Effortless yes
I shot the sr side by side with hoyt alpha x 33. The sr was in comfort. The draw was the same . Shot about 10-15 through each one . Hoyt had a touch less shock but it was so close it could have been my imagination. Shot at 28” draw on both.
I hunt with a Solution SS. Looks like the Core SS has a 5 fps bump in speed has the cam timing and grip adjustment features. Does the draw cycle feel the same as the Solution SS?
Very very similar
Can I ask what your height and weight are? We have an identical build..I’d be curious to see how close we are. Thanks
6’1 about 250lbs
Im 27 1/2 with loop Ive always been a Bowtech but Expidition! Seems to be calling me.. Where is The bext type Realm SR or INSANITY !! I WANT TGAT SPEED FOR THOSE SPEARS I SHOOT OUT OF MY BOWS!!😂😂😂 IM OLD SCHOOL ON MY Arrow set up! Give me Speed powsr in Bow and ill shot Sledgehammer arrows!! 150 grain Wenzel woodsnan. BOWTECH OR EXPIDITION?
What release are you using?
Spot hog wise guy w/ boa strap
Core sr in comfort is smooth also . Shot it sxs with hoyt alpha x …. Sr was better
Athens Axxis next?
Soon I’m hoping
I shot SS and SR side by side at 28" draw. I could not tell difference in draw cycle.
Do u shoot both sides of the mod and what poundage
@@BackyardBows Shot in comfort only at 70 lbs
I shot both the SS and SR today. The SS had a noticeably smoother draw cycle
Wait isn’t 8 + 8 + 9 + 10 + 8 = 43? And then x2 is 86, +1 for cost = 87? Not that the score matters more than the substance of the review (which is great)!
Calling me out like that lol jk mistake on my end for sure
@@BackyardBows Dude I debated saying anything because the content is what matters. But basically I’m over here just tracking all these other scores while awaiting my RVX order to arrive at my local shop lol. The work you’re doing is fantastic man, thanks for all this information.
@@KeeganMBrennan lol all good brother if I make a mistake please point it out I’m human and sometimes need to slow down lol
yeah i got 23 cp 30 love it but the hats a real shit bag
Proof will be in the pudding and other than Paige they have not been winning all that much I think Paige can shoot a stick and win.
