I stumbled upon your instructional video of how to make sauce pois last year, I have been making sauce pois since. I was in Boscobel, WI, for a little over three months, on my first month there at the hotel, I was eating out on a day to day basis. Not having diri, suace pois, and of course poule, over 30 days, I started going nuts. So when I couldn't take it anymore. I got on my computer on my day off, and went to UA-cam University, I'd watched ton of videos prior to yours but ended up losing interested in the middle of them all. But for whatever reason when I got to your video, it caught my attention and until this day I can't even tell you why. I remembered watching it over and over just to memorized the process. So the next day I drove to Walmart which was an hour and thirty minutes from me and bought a pressure cooker and all the ingredients that you stated. I've followed your instructions step by step, until the end, and BANM! Sauce pois, it tasted so good, I drunk the whole within hours after making it. And here I am making sauce pois every four to five days until my remaining time there. I'm an IT by profession and a woodworker hobbyist, I have never made an actual real meal before, and for it to taste so freaking good on my first time, mean your instructional video is on point, so THANK YOU to you Ma'am and your daughter for investing your precious time to help others, I really, really appreciated you guys.

Family please be careful using Canola oil. It’s highly inflammatory and oil to cook with. As a nutritionist I know now differently than I did many years ago so I just like to share. please use healthy oils like avocado, or olive oil. Thanks 🙏🏽 for sharing

You're the first person I've seen not use coconut milk/creme in their sos pwa. Idk what's it's even for 😅
Many of us Haitians put coconut milk or blend fresh coconut and put in out bean sauces, rice and beans etc.

You did a wonderful job but, the pois wasn't soft enough to blend and that the reason why there's so much thing in the strainer o discard . remember the value of the beans is the skin. Next time please, let it boil and cook until soupy before you blend it and you will not loose anything. As a matter of fact it will be creamy and taste buttery. You did a Clean job anyway . saa se pois pou du riz colé .
