@@johnathanrmarsh Yeah. Thrustmaster and Logitech are getting on the direct drive scene too. I know there are higher end brands (stuff like Simucube), but they're beyond the reach of even most people who want a direct drive. It's like GPUs. I remember when Nvidia was miles ahead on their competition. Now that gap is closing with the offerings of AMD and Intel.
In case anyone was wondering, those green headphones were IEMs (in ear monitors). They are designed for musicians during live performances, so the cable runs down the back inside the shirt and you tighten the cable agains the back of you head so you can freely move your head around.
Linus' reaction to the toothbrush price had me literally laughing out loud. He cared so little for that toothbrush that he didn't find the energy to react to it. "Ok whatever" 😂
As someone who has used electric for about 5 years and switched back to manual for the last couple of months I can definitely say they're about the same. I find most electric toothbrush heads have too firm and thick bristles and they don't get in between the teeth as well as some normal brush heads do. So electric does a good job on surface cleaning, but not great for interdental cleaning. Manual - assuming it has the right bristles - does a nice job with both.
The hearing aids product sounds pretty good, I've been wearing hearing aids since I was a child and they all suffer from the weird eco/noise cancelling and being able to hear yourself etc. They've gotten a lot better over the years but its still an issue. It would be nice to have ones that connect to your phone reliably (the ones I currently have use some ulta low energy bluetooth and it constantly drops out, this seems to be common or you have to replace the batteries a ridiculous amount). Please can we see more HoH/deaf products on LTT? I think its a world you'd all find super interesting as most of the team are audiophiles
the hook on that speaker was definitely meant to hang in like a tent or in a shed or something but some exec decided to market it as useful for hanging from your backpack
I spent $100 AUD on a similar car that did the same thing and could be controlled with my phone. Easy setup, better camera quality by far and it was bigger and faster
The design on how to put the BGVP DM9's is cause they're in-ear monitors for singers/musicians. The cord would go down your back or side to the monitor receiver. The hook design helps them stay on your ears even if you're moving around the stage.
Was going to say, I like these types of videos. You don't always get what you expect and shows some sides you normally wouldn't see reviewing more professional or planned products.
You two make a seriously entertaining couple! Regarding the gearing aides. As someone who wears HAs for 6 years now, the ones shown aren't really a needed bridge anymore. Modern hearing aides can be used as headphones without a problem. And at leat in germany, you insurance will cover aides for 750€ per side if prescribed which will be far better than the ones shown here.
With tinted glass I believe you need ND glass for that specific wavelength, which most likely is 1064 nm. Definitely not use it. Also you need some good suction with filter. Anodized or painted aluminum makes a mess, wood quickly burns, plastic is fuming a lot and glass quickly explodes if you hit an air bubble in it. Marking stainless steel is a clean operation though. I may have tested all of the above on our commercial laser marker.

I think it's always as fun watching someone try to use any somewhat serious wheel and pedal set using a gaming chair made to look like a racing chair... The number of times I've heard people claim there's something wrong with the break pedal. I bet that they were all in a office or gaming chair that just slid away the moment they tried to step on the brake.
That’s not how it works. Linus is still effectively at the top of the company with his wife, so he could choose to make important decisions if he truly wanted to. His employees have done playful jabs at him for a long time (part of it is them having fun, and part of it is to make the video more fun and engaging). It’s also entirely possible that some of this video was shot before the major change in position for Linus.
The usb connector on the door lock is for emergency opening/power bank if they run out of power. Most door readers have some type of outside connector for backup, and can also be used for programming ✌ I work with this stuff, though from way more reputable brands, and I would never use that 😂
Regarding the laser safety.. I worked at vocational school / fablab teaching "modern manufacturing" (3d printing, cnc, laser cutting etc.) The laser cutter/engraver the school has is "completely sealed" with big tempered glass cover. When I started, I had long and serious conversation with people who take care of workshop safety - and they refused to get even the yellow tinted safety glasses because "the unit is sealed". If you glance at the cutting point when the laser is working, I get that annoying bright-light-spot for a while, and after working 1½ years at the school when ever I get those from anything shiny they last 2~4 times longer than before working with the laser. And I knew from beginning that the f'ing glass will do f' all and tried my best not to look at it, rather check the work quality keeping laser's gantry between or just pausing the machine... Co-worker who took over teaching the workshop when I left got permanent* spot covering most of his eye, probably from the laser bouncing from the metal grid under the cut piece. So much for tempered glass "sealing the unit"... (*iirc his words from visiting doctor: it's protecting system in optical nerve that can be alleviated by specialist eye surgeon with lot of fancy tech.. maybe.) Don't f' around with laser. You are better being way way waaay over protective of your sight.
I recently purchased AICE 3 on Amazon and I can't express how much it has saved my life. As someone who suffers from hot flashes, I used to dread the summer months. But ever since I started using AICE 3, my life has completely changed. This innovative product has helped me stay cool and comfortable even during the most intense heatwaves. The portable design makes it easy to carry around, and the cooling effect is truly remarkable. I no longer have to worry about my condition interfering with my daily activities. AICE 3 has become my go-to solution for managing my hot flashes, and I highly recommend it to anyone dealing with similar issues. Thank you, AICE, for creating a product that has made such a significant difference in my life!!!
I love these thick outdoor/ workshop phones. I had two but they seem to always fail the same way after about a year. The Sim Slot gets lose and you lose your ability to call anyone. Sadly I had to switch to a used Samsung S10 which already lasts twice as long. I've heard that the more pricy Catphones have similar problems. Very sad.

ddts is going broke, i feel bad for them......u can tell by the amount of those type of videos they were doing and what they asre doing now. also im not happy with them......there was kitty approval products lately lol
I was thinking MKBHD did this a couple months ago. Though it is a headscratcher to ask a 20-30 something UA-camr to review a casket for you.
Who is DDTS?
optimus really just said "autobots, roll out of existence" with the drop to the ultimate sudoku match .
This is one of the best LTT videos I have seen in quite a while. The randomness is great!
I hate the presenting of useless crap that people will still buy even if they say it's garbage.
Moza is actually killing it right now. Some of the best products for the money I've used out of my entire PC setup.
Not only are they great, but they forced the competition to slash prices to compete. It's a win-win for all sim racing fans right now.
Quite weird they didn't mount it on their simrig. They could not get the best of the pedals in the video
@@youmy001 Meh, Linus wouldn't be able to give an objective opinion either way. This is not the place to go if you want simrig reviews.
$300 for a toothbrush is absurd though
@@vappyreon1176they are good though. But too many and expensive features.
@@vappyreon1176 300 is absurd. U can get a 30 dollar sonicare one. Way better than manual brush or rotating one.
I won one from my dentist & I’d have to say I like it!
The random XQC at 15:03 had me laughing yo tears
@@Matthew-nk4fs it caught me off guard so bad I had that burst out laugh and the slight chuckle for 20 mins after shit was funny as hell
the hook on that speaker was definitely meant to hang in like a tent or in a shed or something but some exec decided to market it as useful for hanging from your backpack
Adam being the host, David on camera and Linus being shown everything (with EVERYONE on joke duty)...
PERFECT!
That cuktech joke was foul 😂
The blanket in the chair got me good.
There's a type of dc-dc converter invented by Slobodan Ćuk (pronounced chook) maybe that's where they got the name, not ideal for a brand tho lol
Some of us can only dream of getting to test drive a GOOVIS OR a seat. But to experience a GOOVIS ANDASEAT AT THE SAME TIME?! You lucky duck.
Was going to say, I like these types of videos. You don't always get what you expect and shows some sides you normally wouldn't see reviewing more professional or planned products.
"Okay to my knowledge, nobody has actually had sex with Yvonee since we got married" - Linus really outing himself like that lmfao
And the birds brought the kids
Lmao self burn. Was going to comment this myself.
Sounds like someone needs to sit down and have the birds and bees talk with Linus XD
@@whoamI-tk3qz sue they where not product tests or "opportunities" as he called them here?
cant wait to change that
You two make a seriously entertaining couple! Love seeing you having fun and having a sense of humor, which in a way resembles the honest opinion of consumers anyway, so seeing you two being authentic between yourselves is hilarious, but combining that with honest experiences while reviewing makes it the best kind of immersive review! Hope to see more!
"What will never roll away from you is this segue to our sponsor" "New Cheif Vision officer" I cracked up on those, Kudos to the editing team. one of the funniest ones in recent times!
bro, every youtuber should do this, its SO ENTERTAINING and fun to watch!
If anything Linus is painfully late to this trend ...
Pretty sure this isn't the 1st time LMG has done this, think it was one of the smaller channels.
Seen this on Dawid's, Kyle's and Austin's channels at least once each.
@@dolan-duk and MKBHD not long ago with the coffin
Regarding the gearing aides. As someone who wears HAs for 6 years now, the ones shown aren't really a needed bridge anymore. Modern hearing aides can be used as headphones without a problem. And at leat in germany, you insurance will cover aides for 750€ per side if prescribed which will be far better than the ones shown here.
Not often I find myself laughing out loud at LTT videos but this one did it.
the toothbrush bit while Linus was fully immersed really got me
Yeah this is very old-school linus, pretty good. lol
21:25 "I work with a child"
No, you work FOR a child
He's not the CEO anymore
@@totti1st but he's the owner. the ceo works for him.
22:00 You guys probably won't see this, but something to add to the chair you guys got is that if the piston is cheaply made, it can explode with a person sitting on it and can be fatal.
This was honestly top tier fun content. I wouldn't say no to more
Heck yeah. This was a fun watch with a ton of odds-and-ends showcasing.
it's not unique tho
@@CybertroninfiniteOfficial I fail to see where either of us said it was. 🤔
@@whytho1690 I fail to see where I was critiquing your comment rather than just making a comment about the video
@@CybertroninfiniteOfficial My guy, you replied to a comment. Why else would you do that if not to critique the comment? Why did you not just make a new comment?
10:06 I think these are for musicians on stage
i saw MKBHD do that a while ago, he got a literal coffin
I was about to comment about him too.
Did it have tech in it?
@@devin2156 nope, just a plain old coffin.
Ok
These are by far my favorite type of videos y'all do, so much fun.
22:30 There is no way you guys dont own a single concrete slab that you could have bolted the pedals into
I have one of the earlier Omnicharges. It's great because it can take variable DC in (like a solar panel) and you can set the voltage for the DC out (anywhere from 5V - 25V) so I could run some truly random electronics without needing a wall wart. Aside from that, it was just the slimmest AC inverter I could find at the time.
I had one. They’re overpriced. I returned mine.
It’s also 28,160mah not 40,000mah
@@jsl6155 Ayup. I had it running a NES emulator and pico projector in the middle of PAX. I couldn't find anything off the shelf that would be light enough (at the time) to have strapped to my shoulder. It was a very very niche use case.
I was hoping you guys would do something like this. MKBHDs video like this was so much fun to watch
MKBHD did the same concept a month ago. Cool to see what you got on your side, but the intro is very similar (almost identical to his from my memory).
honestly that goovis thing has me extremely interested in the whole realm of personal home theatre tech. that seems like exactly the kinda thing made for me and i'd love to get a better lay of the land on it.
I absolutely adore the editing in this video massive props for the editor or editors who pulled this off❤
Would like to see more of this sort of thing.
I hope you guys do this kind of video every once in a while. Its pretty fun to watch but also cool to just see random things with the chance of finding something genuinely decent
A video deep diving battery banks would be good.
Take them apart, see if the labels on the outside are the same as the parts inside.
See if they work as advertised etc.
There could be a whole channel dedicated to these kinds of products.
See Austin Evans
This is one of the most entertaining videos you've made recently. The wild swing from one genre to another was very good at keeping my short attention span. I would love to see more videos like this.
Dude those are 11:46 in ear monitor for musicians. Can't believe you never seen that lol
The Moza wheels are pretty good for their price, probably the best bit of kit there. Super awkward on a computer chair though you need a sim rig haha
Such a great working dynamic. Not a lot of bosses you could mess with that hard. Great stuff.
That MOZA racing kit was the star of this episode.
18:16 You can tell that Linus isn't CEO anymore by how bold the other employees are getting... 😂
You're literally the only one who can post this type of video and have it actually be great.
There is also a German UA-camr that did that
And MKBHD
Far anyone wondering Moza is a new brand in sim racing and alot of people are loving them
0:56 Linus saving something from dropping!!!! Either this linus is AI generated or these are the end times...
21:32 Plouffe in the background lol
What’s that? 🙃
The usb connector on the door lock is for emergency opening/power bank if they run out of power.
Most door readers have some type of outside connector for backup, and can also be used for programming ✌
I work with this stuff, though from way more reputable brands, and I would never use that 😂
Moza has made some really good stuff lately and for sim racing I couldn't recommend them enough
You guys should do a thing like this twice a year. Its fun to see the good the bad and the ugly lol
They highlighted a real word issue I have when using my wheel and pedals. How to stop my chair rolling back when I brake.
0:33
Optimus ran out of his prime
18:30 they're just doing UT support during the whole event...
I'm dead
That said... I'm extremely suspicious of the Cuktech's 150Wh claim
9:40 maybe for wireless mouse charging
this was actually very fun! this is exactly the kind of project Adam shines in
This was one of my favorite LTT videos in a minute, Adam is a good character
(*iirc his words from visiting doctor: it's protecting system in optical nerve that can be alleviated by specialist eye surgeon with lot of fancy tech.. maybe.)
Don't f' around with laser. You are better being way way waaay over protective of your sight.

Love the Summit Ice shirt! Thank you Nathan for helping us to always remember.
LOL I caught that too!
You should definitely do this every month!

Do this again. It was the kind of chaotic energy I want in a video.
This is actually fun. You should do this more often
"And then the toothbush is 300 dollars"

Had me laughing from start to end. Adam and Linus, great combo.
Very sad.
