The lens at 18:56 has great vibes even if $50 is too much. I made my own e-mount dispo lens for $15 using a camera cap and a salvaged lens from a disposable camera and I love it more than my Sigma prime lenses. It brings back the nostalgic look of disposable cameras without having to resort to fake looking filters. I’ve had more fun with it than I have had with any other lens.

This channel is I think the only one where I don't skip the sponsor sections... I think its the way you guys intro them but they just feel like part of the video and not something extremely intrusive.
That handheld that you guys couldn't get is an R36S that they throw a couple games on and charge $100. I paid like $25 for mine on Ali Express. It is a solid machine, too.
The one shown in the reseller FB Ad was a RG353V made by Anbernic which is an older and more expensive, feature rich and slightly more powerful device from 2022 that could easily cost a fair 100 bucks if bought from a reseller and not directly by Anbernic or on Ali in a sale. The R36s is a more recent generic device made by Game Console that's rather cheaply made but also often on sale around 20-30 bucks and for 20-25bucks still a solid enough pick in the current retro handheld market for those who want a cheap but still capable device.
18:04 The pocket dispo is not actually manufactured e-waste, it's designed to give a vintage disposable camera effect to modern cameras, and they have become really popular in the filmmaking community for their aesthetic images, they look awesome, proven by the fact Andy the camera man shot an entire section with it and the results are really interesting!
@@EnlightenedSavage it helps when you shoot the photos like you would with a disposable camera. Photos of people? use flash. Photos outside? Change the edit to look more filmic.
Linus: *Goes to his infrastructure admin* "Should I plug this shady looking device in?" Admin: "I dunno boss, do you feel like buying new work stations and servers?"
that 3d printed camera lens thing is pretty nostalgic, ive read online about people making those for the 90's vibe of disposable camera for a lack of a better word "filter" hard to imagine it was 50$ though. but someone had to design, assemble it and looking at it like that its a steal if youre into the 90's vibe
The tiny camera lens is what's oftenly called a "lens cap lens" or "mount cap lens" or similar. The point is, it's a cap to cover the mount when "no lens" is attached, but this way you can still shoot something in a panick.
That's actually a really handy use case. Seems like there's more comments about that lens than any other product shown. People seem to like the effect. If it had been about $15 or even $20 the maker would probably have been inundated with orders.

18:14 it’s called camera obscura, you can make one yourself by just pinching a small hole in a camera lens cover, won’t be as perfect, but a fun thing to do! :)
Afaik those are a bit different; there are pinhole "lenses" but this was a lens taken from a used disposable camera glued to a 3D printed sensor cover. You can still make your own for a cheaper price but I got mine from Etsy and it's really fun to use :)
I love the BedJet I don’t have the cloud sheet it feels so good the cooling is from the air around you and goes through the tube to cool you so your basically getting the room air blown into the bed and not getting just the heat from in the bed and there’s a lot of ways you can program it to work best for you and I also payed less then $400 but they got the cloud sheet also and I didn’t
we should all collectively agree to pay Adblock developers the subscription fee of any premium subscription service. like why would you pay 20 bucks a month for UA-cam Premium when you could support an ad block developer for 20 bucks and receive a good product that does the same thing?
Because my 1.9 bucks a month gives me UA-cam music premium, access to premium afterparties, and actually supports the youtubers I watch. I think a premium view counts more than a ad view, and a premium view pays more than a ad view
And how will the creators you watch be compensated? I don't understand why some people think they're entitled to watch UA-cam for free. If everyone did what you suggested this platform wouldn't exist. $14 a month for something I use for hours everyday isn't a bad deal.
Man you weren’t kidding about the Facebook ads. I opened up the app and started counting the posts until I see an ad. I think the ratio is more like 50% rather than 25% 😭
The shitty lens actually looks cool, it has a cinematic indie feel and look, i think they should shoot something with it in the future videos. Like if you agree.
Just FYI, the point of that 3d printed lens is as a lens cap replacement, not an actual lens. With that instead of a regular lens cap you can still take a quick shot if you don't have time to put a lens on.. sometimes a bad shot is better than none at all. Granted, it's a pretty niche product, but in the photography world 50 bucks is nothing, Leica sells regular lens caps for that much.

18:50 Oh, dispocam, I get it! As in disposable camera. People actually do want those lenses, they're for getting a 90's/y2k vibe. Remember when you had to go to Zellers, or K-Mart and get your film developed in an hour?
15:00 I have one of those "ocean galaxy lights" and it's really great for it's low price for creating a comfy mood. And it DOESN'T shoot laser everywhere through the reflective dome, it shoots it straight up through the tiny circle *right next to the warning sticker*. And if you have kids that doesn't understand words like "don't ever look at this thing" you can turn the laser off and keep the light on. The light itself is not a laser. Yes it's not a perfect product but that's not a reason for misinformation
@@BocVel it project tiny dots to imitate stars. You can see it on 15:21 when they point the thing at the ceiling. The lights are ordinary RGB LEDs behind a rotating piece of wavy glass
5:21 the fact that it didn't go off when Linus did that means it doesn't work, normally a co2 detector would go ballistic if you put it in a bag like that.
11:32 This is really my main reason why I never, I mean never, even click on an ad I see. If anything catches my eye, I will Google it. Surprisingly, most of what I look up turns out to not even be "real", in the sense that you can get it reliably from more than just this single source from the ad. If there is just a single seller from who-knows-where, I don't even consider a purchase, even if it looks really neat or I think I might really use it.
I bought a USB capture card from a TikTok shop ad and it's been great! It was 20 bucks for 4k30 capture and has been nice to use with my partner's DSLR
Bed Jet is more of an air circulator for the "cool mode" they even say on the fine print in their marketing and amazon page that you're better off upgrading your AC unit. Those 8sleeps are genuine coolers (there are lines in your bed and water) but with how water chills, it gets ridgid as it gets close to the freezing temperature, making your bed uncomfortable. Look up the technology connections video on air conditioners if you want to know how they would need to be built to work.
I remember seeing some videos of recover disposable camera lenses that were supposed to give that sort of 90s aesthetic and that lens reminds me of it.
i bought that lofree mouse when i built my pc and i love it. it is honestly shockingly normal feeling and quite good in the selection of DPI, you can even choose a custom amount.
22:50 This is closest to a scam without being a scam product I've ever seen. It's expensive af AND you need a yearly subscription? Absurd.

And can defeat it with a magnet

Its more than a quarter of ads now
Definitely, least with shorts it can happen every third video but seems to hover between that and every forth video.
they're personalized, you watch LTT so i wouldn't doubt that you have a lot of tech ads
just pay premium brokiii
The ads have been getting even worse on TV's cuz it gives like two sixty second uskippables per video
Just use ad block?.. Plus sponsor skip to skip the 20 second sponsor spot.
It is a solid machine, too.
yeah i have exactly RG35XX Plus and its so good
The one shown in the reseller FB Ad was a RG353V made by Anbernic which is an older and more expensive, feature rich and slightly more powerful device from 2022 that could easily cost a fair 100 bucks if bought from a reseller and not directly by Anbernic or on Ali in a sale. The R36s is a more recent generic device made by Game Console that's rather cheaply made but also often on sale around 20-30 bucks and for 20-25bucks still a solid enough pick in the current retro handheld market for those who want a cheap but still capable device.
2:05 Elijah throwing Logistics under the bus again.
That's not what vintage disposable camera pictures looked like though. It's just a terrible lens. Yes it's just waste.
@@EnlightenedSavage it helps when you shoot the photos like you would with a disposable camera. Photos of people? use flash. Photos outside? Change the edit to look more filmic.
The scam camera lens made the background warehouse look rendered in Unreal Engine haha, it's kinda cool.
nothin like a good ol' at home endoscopy!
Linus: *Goes to his infrastructure admin* "Should I plug this shady looking device in?"
Admin: "I dunno boss, do you feel like buying new work stations and servers?"
Ah yes, the infamous fourskin booth.
Where no-one can hear you and your three friends making slapping noises.
BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Dude I can’t get over how good Elijah is on these videos. Him and Linus are such a good duo together
Was the iPad pin 696969? @8:34
Wasn't expecting the un-bleeped f-bombs 10:37
The real let-down in the Raycue Docking Station is that the little monitor is not a monitor you can display on when you dock.
that 3d printed camera lens thing is pretty nostalgic, ive read online about people making those for the 90's vibe of disposable camera for a lack of a better word "filter" hard to imagine it was 50$ though. but someone had to design, assemble it and looking at it like that its a steal if youre into the 90's vibe
This is going to go horribly wrong
The tiny camera lens is what's oftenly called a "lens cap lens" or "mount cap lens" or similar. The point is, it's a cap to cover the mount when "no lens" is attached, but this way you can still shoot something in a panick.
That's actually a really handy use case. Seems like there's more comments about that lens than any other product shown. People seem to like the effect. If it had been about $15 or even $20 the maker would probably have been inundated with orders.
Linus has so many sponsorships you'd probably spend more than how much he spent if you just did this with some of his uploads
BROOOOOO
I mean sure but most of their sponsors are software and that was ignored for this, so.
@@retronymph that's true, good point
This dude would have a blast in solitary confinement
Mentally unwell, but I look forward to these videos. Thanks.
Hope it gets better, rooting for u buddy
i have definitely taken a meeting in a stairwell when at a busy coworking space by the beach or in startup offices with limited meeting space. Meeting pods like that are definitely pretty valuable to have
Hey ltt team, could you do a video on assisted listening devices for people that are hard of hearing and possibly find a software or hardware solution someone could DIY? An assisted listening device let's users multiple users listen to one of multiple devices of input audio through special devices or their smartphone.
15:48 actually had me howling
18:14 it’s called camera obscura, you can make one yourself by just pinching a small hole in a camera lens cover, won’t be as perfect, but a fun thing to do! :)
Afaik those are a bit different; there are pinhole "lenses" but this was a lens taken from a used disposable camera glued to a 3D printed sensor cover. You can still make your own for a cheaper price but I got mine from Etsy and it's really fun to use :)
11:50 Highly recommend getting a revolut account and using their disposable cards for purchases like that one
i actually like that lens in video form
BROOO
Revanced UA-cam and smart UA-cam are your friends
Because my 1.9 bucks a month gives me UA-cam music premium, access to premium afterparties, and actually supports the youtubers I watch.
I think a premium view counts more than a ad view, and a premium view pays more than a ad view
ublock origin doesn't really accept donations but the lists that they use to decide which ads to block sometimes do
And how will the creators you watch be compensated?
Granted, it's a pretty niche product, but in the photography world 50 bucks is nothing, Leica sells regular lens caps for that much.
incorrect? It's literally a 35mm Kodak disposable lens meant to capture that disposable camera feel and marketed exactly as that.
y'know what'd be great? an in-depth buyers guide to lavalier microphones. i've been using one for several years now as my PC general communications mic, and it's just the best mic i ever had. would like to upgrade though
As someone who owns and uses a bedjet consistently they are wildly underrated until you really try it. They are phenomenal
0:30 Relatable
18:50
Oh, dispocam, I get it!
Kids can still play around with it when you're not there.
@@leonro kids can play around with gas stoves, knives and electric outlets when you're not there. Does anyone get angry at those things for existing?
Wait, why does it have a laser if it doesn't need it to do the lights?
@@BocVel it project tiny dots to imitate stars. You can see it on 15:21 when they point the thing at the ceiling.
The lights are ordinary RGB LEDs behind a rotating piece of wavy glass
i enjoy the fact that you give some of this stuff to your staff. it is a small thing, but it is nice.
get her done
5:21 the fact that it didn't go off when Linus did that means it doesn't work, normally a co2 detector would go ballistic if you put it in a bag like that.
ONE VIEW IN 3 SECONDS? BRO FELL OFF
20:10 - 20:18 Elijah 😂💀 You gotta love the guy lmao
Of course you did Linus
11:32 This is really my main reason why I never, I mean never, even click on an ad I see. If anything catches my eye, I will Google it. Surprisingly, most of what I look up turns out to not even be "real", in the sense that you can get it reliably from more than just this single source from the ad. If there is just a single seller from who-knows-where, I don't even consider a purchase, even if it looks really neat or I think I might really use it.
Just wondering, has anyone here, who is a regular LTT viewer, ever bought any tech based on an ad?
I bought a USB capture card from a TikTok shop ad and it's been great! It was 20 bucks for 4k30 capture and has been nice to use with my partner's DSLR
Bed Jet is more of an air circulator for the "cool mode" they even say on the fine print in their marketing and amazon page that you're better off upgrading your AC unit. Those 8sleeps are genuine coolers (there are lines in your bed and water) but with how water chills, it gets ridgid as it gets close to the freezing temperature, making your bed uncomfortable. Look up the technology connections video on air conditioners if you want to know how they would need to be built to work.
working in a electronic retail store, it’s surprising how many of the general consumer does actually do exactly this and buts products like this

i bought that lofree mouse when i built my pc and i love it. it is honestly shockingly normal feeling and quite good in the selection of DPI, you can even choose a custom amount.
Linus won't see this comment. Instead, he will see this segway to his next sponsor!
18:55 this camera lense looks like it toggles on real life temporal anti-aliasing
OfficialDuckStudios did it first
The camera lens doesn’t look too bad if you’re going for a nostalgic look. But $50 is way too much for a 3D printed piece.
3 views in 25 seconds? bro fell off
Linus and Elijah kinda reminds me a tech version of Beavis and Butthead…. Especially when they start laughing at stuff.
