Good video. It is helpful, even for removing fascia for earlier 1967-68 trucks. Goid R&R of the front grill on a budget, except the $36/can trim paint. Any quality primer and exterior grade/automotive spray paint for metal would work, too. One note, the noticable overuse of the phase, "... Go ahead and..." over and over and over. Are you related to John Gardner? , (John too, in the Brother's Truck videos' overuses that same ... Go ahead and... phase. 😅 Thanks for the upload.

with these grilles going for close to a grand, you'd think there would be more people doing vids on saving/ restoring them. Btw, the oxidation on mine did not respond well to polish or anything else.

Yeah that anodized aluminum is a bitch. I’ve seen guys who stripped it and then spent 30 hours polishing it back up. Looks great but man is it a lot of work.

@@rowdy3837 I did rub in olive oil and that worked better than anything else to remove the haze. But i don't know how long it will last.
