See that transition at @3:22 in my car hits hard af.. so makes me wonder if they're catering more to the car test of the mix? Of course the UA-cam version and Spotify version sound different as well
The mix sounds infinitely better on Spotify but it still sounds a bit muddy. I had the same feeling about Poverty of Self until the album dropped though
The mix sounds very weird as well, everything sounds very over compressed and the guitars are way too loud and the drums are buried, same with the vocals. Currents usually has great, massive production so I don't know what's going on here
Agreed it sounds quite a bit better on spotify withmax quality stream but after hearing albums produced by buster this sounds so sub-par in terms of punch and rawness.
@@BuddzBunnyHD hopefully the album production is better and this song and The Death We Seek get a remix, because these songs are bangers and they deserve to be done justice with a solid punchy mix. Kinda like what Wage War did with Low when they dropped Pressure, they completely remixed it
@@jettphilip8576 This song had the exact same feeling on me as when they released poverty of self. It felt repetitive and the new mixing didnt click with me at the start, but it made sense when the album dropped. Thats a good point! Hoping for that scenario.
I personally disagree.. I feel this and the death we seek are their best mixes.
Of course I trufully don't know what I'm talking about, but just from a personal prospective they sound the most sonically pleasing
I think the mix sounds a bit like "distorted", but for me it's fine. The song is insanely good.
Because of the mix it doesn't sound as dynamic as it could be
I don't know much Currents but this track was probably the heaviest song I remember hearing from them. And yes, the production definitely took away from the overall experience. The mix here was complete ass. But the riffs were pretty decent. Not sure if this is much of a memorable song in the long run though. 6.5/10

Love the song, absolutely hate the mix. Guitars are super muddy, drums sound like hell. But maybe it’s intentional to sound as angry and aggressive as possible
Mix seems too meshed. Doesn’t feel dynamic. Noisy too.
