I drove one and opened and closed the door several times to see what he and others are complaining about, I didn't feel anything wrong.
I love the truck & the teak interior 👍
I kind of like it but if ram makes a baby 1500 with the same level of build quality it will be so much better

It's a truck not a damn car!
It sounds like they almost have a hit. GMC/Chevy needs to add physical headlight on/off/auto buttons (in addition to the center display option). They need to tweak the rear seat dimensions to add a couple of inches of legroom (it's too cramped!). They need to improve the rear glass to a powered open glass (maybe in the AT4 and up models). And they need to improve the overall cabin experience (creaking, less hard plastics). Oh, and while were at it. Lets move to a coil over suspension.

GM typical cost cutting measures. Hard cheap plastic everywhere yet still raise the prices.
Can't see buying this over a Z71 or a ZR2 Chevy. The higher price gets you nothing meaningful.

Too many people focus on “Specs” these days. Sure HP and torque specs are great, but at the end of the day it’s a characterless 4 cylinder, with zero truck grumble, smoothness or sound. But hey ya get plenty of that typical 4 cylinder buzzyness and as the reviewer said “it’s definately not the worst sounding 4 cylinder he’s ever heard”.. and for only $50k you can drive the not worst sounding 4 cylinder too! GM will eventually fix the truck and at least put a proper 6 cylinder in it and until then I’ll be waiting.
