    -The stability ball is your best friend during pregnancy. Follow along as we move our hips and back using the ball. This routine is excellent for opening your hips, stretching the ligaments pulling in your lower abdomen, and releasing pain in your lower back. Use these exercises BEFORE labor to prepare you and DURING labor to relieve pain from contractions.

    Hi am pregnant for the first time, this is my first trimester. Can i do these exercises now? am quite a beginner to yoga , have done suryanamaskar for a few years thats all. Do you think I can do these during my first trimester?

      Alka Joseph Hello! Thank you for writing. Has your doctor given you permission to exercise? As long as you have been medically checked, then yes you can start these exercises at any time. It is completely subjective based on how you are feeling.

      nlinda2002 When buying the ball, there are usually sizes that go by your height. The specifics should be on the ball packaging or online.

      nlinda2002 Yes the balls are in centimeters. For your height, get the 55cm ball. I loved using the ball, especially during the last weeks of my pregnancy and during contractions!!
