I had the pleasure to see this guitar genius twice back in the 70s I was in my early teens, I can remember it as it was yesterday, he was just amazing, it got me into playing the guitar. God Bless my Hero 🙏🏻 a Legend 🙏🏻
A true virtuoso. The greatest ever and will never be replaced.
l'un des plus grand guitariste de tous les temps, un super bassiste, un bon batteur :)
Where ever ,when ever Mr. Gallagher played it certainly appears that there was no other place on the planet he rather be..
10 minutes de bonheur pur ! Jouissif !
What a sound from a three piece band amazing turned down requests to play with several top bands thank god Rory forever
Wat een bescheiden mens, wat een prachtmens. Hij leefde voor zijn muziek en niets anders dan dat. RIP.
I'm in tears everytime I listen Roy Gallagher and this song especially, I don't know why, probably because he's still one of the greatest guitarist of all time, and surely because he reminds me my dad who offer to discover Photo Finish in 1978, I was only 11 years old. (love u dad, I miss you)
Mee too...can't hold my tears...god bless you Rory
He took over in 1970 where Jimi Hendrix sadly left off. There's a big void in the music scene at the moment.
What a performer..... What a man he was 😍🥰😍
Rory's guitar playing is the 8th wonder of the world. To see him live was a spell bounding experience
This is Real rock n' Roll ! F**K the so called Hall of fame if they aint got Rory !
That's right!
The definition of putting your body & soul into something.
🥰 This is the same period during which I first saw Rory and his band (same shirt!). I was 14 and had only seen Don McLean (American Pie etc) live before (solo, an excellent musician, but a different kettle of fish!). Seeing Rory that first time was an epiphany opening my eyes and ears to what live music could be like! 43 years later, my ears still haven't recovered.
I am in Love with this Genius. Still. Sad, he ist gone
this should be required viewing for anyone who thinks they know how to perform for a live audience.
So agree, but today's performers wouldn't know where to start!
Rory Gallagher gigante e subestimado...
Excelente guitarrista voz e músicas muito boas o cara é bão deveria ser mais reconhecido o cara é bão mesmo
Best live performance ever..... The crowd loved the interaction... He was the best guitarist of ALL time... So sad he is gone. We miss you Rory.
Un des meilleurs guitaristes ! Quelle joie de le voir ! Un monstre sacré du rock'n'roll ! God bless Rory !!!
