Some of these aren't so much types of guitarists as just bad habits they have. -The lead guitarist that can't play rhythm to save their life. -The player that won't stay in time, either playing a song increasingly faster, or speeding up or slowing down at different parts in a song with no warning. -Always tweaking his amp settings while playing a gig. -NEVER has a pick on them. -Can't fix their own axe & gear beyond changing strings. -Uses a 100w amp and a 4x12 cabinet for practice. -Plays his rack. not his axe. -Always wants to borrow your guitar because he doesn't want to play out on his own. -Returns your borrowed axe & gear dirty, or dinged, or broken. -Has OCD about playing a song EXACTLY like it was recorded. Here's an idea for a show: Guitar players we like -Has no idea how good they are. -Returns a gear just like, or better, than you loaned it to them. "Thanks for loaning me your axe. I kinda feel silly now after watching the guy who wants his perfect shade of blue guitar because that's just me only with red. I have my eye on this firenza red v6 stratocaster from the Vintage brand and am about to pull the trigger on it, knowing full well that it's not going to make me a better player but just can't help myself.
Siddharth Karunakaran || You suffer from what is known as “G.A.S” or “Gear Acquisition Syndrome. Unfortunately this disease seems to be incurable. The only known treatment is to keep acquiring gear until one day you may get past G.A.S
Man I’ve always wanted a blue squier strat contemporary. I know squiers are beginner guitars BUT DAMN!
Im the "owns several electric guitars but just plays everything on acoustic because im too lazy to set up"
Literally me
Didn't have to call me out like that
I knew a guy like that. Had like 6 electric guitars that were nicer then any guitar I owned and I never saw him play them. Just played a shitty beat up acoustic guitar lol
My last guitarist in a nutshell lmao
Yeah that's me
I'm a combo of "played for 11 years, but just does licks" (except it's been 20), and "just plays/rips off tool/ratm/soad riffs"
People be like "I can play that song!" and then just play the intro. It's me. I'm people
Bruh same
Yeah. When I want to "learn a song" I'm literally just picking out the fun parts of the song I want to learn.
@@omgvague only fun parts? You mean only the easy parts :D
There's only one song I can play completely.
And it's three simple riffs.
The guy that tries to play with “feel”.
that's me:(
you mean Steve Vai?
Blues?
Steve Vai. No feel.
The Talented Guitarist who has no idea how talented they really are..
You forgot the one who says "well, you know, I'm better at playing bass"
Frank Diodati I feel personally attacked by this, but I can’t be mad. That’s pretty spot on.
@@SokuThePunless me too lol
Why you gotta come at me like that dude
Ouch
Frank Diodati well then, call me out why don’t ya!
Jammin out of key? " You mean jazz"
It’s the truth
“Ya like jazz”
No jazz just modulates all the time to different keys lol
@@jacksonvalad8012 Jazz has a lot of that, but you can also do out of key stuff. especially on a V7 chord leading to its one or in fusion stuff
Locke Yeetus there is a difference between leaving key for a note and playing an entire jam session in a different key lol
I think i might be the guy who would teach myself how to play guitar and master my favorite songs but cant jam with other people or write original songs
what about the “worship guitar player” just uses reverb and delays! 😂
Chill bruh
What song did u play when u did the classical finger style part?
Joe Satriani - Baroque
He did a full cover for it back in 2016.
Belal A.Kamal ok thanks a lot
6:43 me sitting here blue and purple colorblind not being able to see the most likely beautiful color of these guitars
5:13 ok this has a really cool almost desert-like sound. It’s inspiring me to make a song.
Also 5:39 is still better than anything I could’ve done.
5:13 sounds like it belongs in Terra-Tech
I think everyone thinks they’re the greatest air guitar player ever...
that “metal” acoustic lick was actually sick
You missed the type of guitarist that feels his way to the right key.
I'm the guy who just got a loop pedal and is enjoying jamming with himself
Same here
Lmao u can like have a shred off against urself 😂
That “classical” bit you played was great!
Lately I've been the, "I should be practicing but I can't stop watching guitar videos on UA-cam " type of guitarist.
I'm the "out of tune slide guitar player".
5:45. His messed up sweep still better than mine🤣
The shredder that says he's just learning when someone asks for him to play!!
You forgot the guy who impersonates every type of guitar player
I’m definitely the rhythm guitarist that plays different subgenres of metal
You missed the pretentious indie guitarist, who only knows how to play Mac Demarco, and only uses chorus/vibrato
Oh my god those people are insufferable. There’s this guy I know who’s like that and he legit sucks and butchers everything he tries to play but he thinks he’s so good and posts himself playing on Instagram like every single day
What about the person who always scratches his guitar(aka the asmr guitarist)
I'm definitely the nervous one I felt physical pain when watching that part that is exactly what it's like its the perfect example
The one that copies everything John Mayer does, EVERYTHING!
And there is the guy who just plays a classic guitar and everybody forgets he exists
Atmospheric player who stacks 5 different reverbs on top of 4 different delays, loops them into some effect that 12 people in the world know about, and then through a SLO, to give it a little mood.
I'm the metal on acoustic, sucks at guitar, and the I can play the intro😂😕😖😭
Oh and the nervous guitar player
