Great footage. Still got the goosebumps when I an watching the Grand Prix movie where you can see the 10KM combined road / oval track. Good to see that the track is relatively in good shape and not demolished. To many a true monument of racing.
Hi Julio, No Webber, the Mini we are in is a Mini Van with a 1380cc 16v twin cam with fuel injection. It puts out 148BHP and has a top speed on excess of 135mph. The reason we are driving so slowly is the surface of the old track isn't in good condition, there are fences on the circuit too. We were one of a very select group to ever be allowed on the old circuit. Part of this permission was that we behaved our selves and respected the conditions for allowing us on. This included driving slowly. We would like to the have opportunity to be invited back one day. :-) It was a dream to be allowed on and one we will never forget.
+Archie If you want someone to drive this track you need Safer-barriers new asphalt and that coast 21 million euro for the Eurospeeway, which is in much better condition
I would love to drive on this banking circuit. I wonder if modern supercars with their low ground clearance will be able to take the top of the banking? Anyone know?
Having the weber in the glovebox makes a great sound, who was leading and why were they going so slow, I mean at least top gear in a mini should be still ok, its still a very wide road.

+supercooled Nascar Superspeedway Config and make it even extremer; if you can do this, than you can drive the top probably
It's like Miami Homestead, Daytona and Bristol MS combined so taking it up top wouldn't be an issue
