For those looking, a great place to find skyr is Sprouts. Though it's not a chain that's nationwide, you'll find it in most of the western states (I'm in Phoenix, AZ and there are a handful out here). Not sure if they have Siggi's, but I'll be checking for it the next time I stop by....Coconut sounds right up my alley.
I just started to use skyr a few weeks ago, I saw Mark Bell using it and now you are talking highly about it. I tried vanilla flavor and the plane version, very good taste&consistency and I still have the pumpkin flavor in the fridge waiting for me :-)
Not a fan of yogurt.. may have to give this a try as an alternative to always going with cottage cheese and string cheese. Jim, do you just throw pro jym right into the skyr and mix, or do you liquify it in a smoothie?
Here in Canada we have Quebec company called Liberte. The make greek yogurt and Skyr. And well both are awesome. Just skyr has more protein and way less sugar in the flavored varieties. Right now i have the coconut flavour as well.
I live in Florida I just tried 4%OMG this is so yummy 😋 and think it's like a meal I had gastric bypass and it's amazingly filling and it was strawberry rhubarb yum yum yum!
Great tip, Jim! I've been mixing Skyr into my diet ever since watching this video even though I'm a Greek yogurt diehard. And good call on the coconut flavor -- tastes great.
It’s very interesting about the amino acid profile. I’m sure that’s why it’s marking me feel so good. Dairy is really bad for our colon and kidneys but is very beneficial for us in the short term. We are definitely just “really smart monkeys” and are supposed to be eating fruit, greens & nuts. But most people are really unhealthy from eating modern processed foods. & I feel like Skyr is a really Kosher food for sure. If we were ancient Vikings or mountain yogis in India; even Greek lol... cultured dairy would have been our bread and butter.

Saw this food on "bizarre foods" a while back and man is it bitter!!!! I know it's not the healthiest when I add sugar to it but this is how they did it on show and it does cut the bitterness down. Sugar with cream and skyr. The cream is optional.

Boddah For what it is worth, I would take Kefir, it has a bunch of probiotics and Kefir also contains vitamin K2. K2 is a hard one to get and many are deficient in it.

Awesome video, I used to take whey protein powder but it started to give me the hershey squirts so i just went with food and skyr is fantastic.
skyr is amazing, my favourite is ginger-lime and vanilla chocolate

Here in finland we have variety of flavoures, best combo in them is 18 grms of protein, 4,6 grms of carbs. Also great for the gut...
Many Target superstores, HEB, HEB-Central Market and Whole Foods often carry Siggis. (my fave of theirs is orange ginger with fresh blueberries)

here in england i just eat skyr straight or with berries. the berries balance out the bitter taste and keeps sharp taste
