That was nice of you, to train that new guy. You do great work, I always learn something new from your channel. Actually, my brother had a driveway put in, and all they used was thin wire fence instead of rebar. I had to look back at the pictures today and I realized they really did a lousy job on my brothers driveway. The only way I knew that, was by watching your channel. Thanks again.

David, your winning because you have 3 things where most businesses keep one for themselves and that makes it very difficult to match by anyone! 1. Price - Reasonable price because your labor efficient, generations experienced, and supply chain managed. 2. Quality - You have a consistent quality process and product that you continually improve. 3. Speed - you bid, schedule, and get it done. No messing around. So there is the secret formula, price, quality and speed. Many business survive and thrive on just two! You have provided your very fortunate customers with all 3!!! You probably get allot of referral business and very deservedly so!!!! Your videos are awesome just like your business. Price -free to us, Quality - people enjoy watching excellence with a calm and confident attitude, Speed - you post fast! Thank you so much!!!

Bought a fixer upper home and am doing sidewalks, patios, double driveway, small pool, concrete tiki bar, hammock pergola, and utility shed with 16 x 12 concrete block bedroom addition and 2 concrete fountains. Have a new 6 cu/ft mixer, vibrator and plenty of tools with top shelf videos from David Odell. What more do i need besides the 34 cu/yds of 3/4 stone and sand they dumped in the middle of my back yard. Of course i ordered the MANDATORY Odell Concrete hat / shirt ensemble with my first 20 lb order of Dave's famous fiber additive :) Thanks Dave and wish me luck!

I too went on my first concrete job site about two weeks ago. It was for a driveway addition in Los Angeles and let me tell you, it's not easy. I helped tie off the rebar and it was tough being hunched over in the summer heat. The sun really does a number on you. The other thing I helped with the troweling and edging. Again you need that special touch to get everything nice which I didn't have. Make sure to wear ear protection because the pumping machine is annoyingly loud. Great episode.
