Father and sons.

Capital investments always have my support, along those lines get a tracked bobcat soon, you save all rental expenses to help amortize the cost, but sometimes contractors do not look at increased productivity by having bobcat present at all your jobs even ones that are now too small to justify time and rental expense and easier loading and movimg materials etc. I really like the care you exhibit in cleanup very professional job. Yes a tractor could be the next step.

Awesome work! Quick question, is foam needed between the garage floor and the driveway cement? I didn't notice any here, but have seen it in the past
No need
How much lower is the front form board on the curb then the back form ? Awesome work Mr Tyler !
I like at least 1%
Hello from Chicago! When will you seal the driveway and I'd love to get some video of it all finished! Great job!
Not sure yet.
TY
Nice work! as usual. 2 things, how long before you seal, and with what type? Edit Below you said not sure when. Is that a scheduling/weather thing? if not what do you go by?
30 to 90 days.
Very tidy indeed .
TY
Good job
Thanks
its fun to watch these sped up videos at 2x
I concur
So, Tyler was it? Nice to sorta-kinda-not-really meet you. Question for you guys. When did the concrete stamping come onto the scene? Approximately as in what decade would be fine. I have vague memories of it being newly demoed on old home improvement shows but I can't pin down those memories to when.
1990

Awesome work Guys.....Love the Channel!
Glad you enjoy it!
Well-done work.... please what's the circle formwork made of ? Is it wood, plastic or foam?
Plastic
Great job guys. I assume you come back at a later date to antique and seal?
Maybe or the homeowner will take care of it
Wonder how the planter beds turned out. Would be nice to see what he did with them.
we ONLY use track bobcats here in eastern north carolina. everything is on SAND so easy to sing without tracks
I love tracks
Excellent work. Great crew. No sealant?
Second phase
What grade of concrete was used??
Any admixture?
whats the mix ratio?
Looks very good
3000 psi straight crete
Good job and nice work ;-D
Thanks! 😄
Wow stamping looks like actual brick drive way ive done stamping but with red clay concrete but yeah stamping adds a nice look to the concrete
I concur
Ty
Looks awesome man. I’m guessing impervious coverage isn’t an issue in your location? In ATX I’m pretty sure the city would not be ok with covering the whole front yard like that.
No worries it all ends up in the ocean regardless.
Do you strip the supports from the planter form and back fill the holes?
Yes
Wow, that cement truck brand new?? That blue rear on it didnt look scratched at all! LOL...
Did a box out for the sewer cleanouts instead of raising them and doing a brass cover or something? Thats just my OCD side. But that turned out amazing!!
The Home Owner insisted on box outs.
TY
I must of missed it......did you tool the joints in it or saw cut it?
Tooled
Much better video
Ty
High-quality work....very nice. Where we live, we would not be allowed to have so little green space. We need to maintain 2.5 yards of green for every 1 yard of finished space (ie concrete, asphalt etc.).
Must not have a water shortage there
@@OdellCompleteConcrete No,never have. I live in Canada between the great lakes so we actually have too much water. That cause different water related issues where we use green space a a water shield/barrier.
@@gordd7348
Makes sense
Sounds just like his dad when he does a voice over lol. I love it
That's the key
@@leafystreet9247Was wondering the same. I got used to his voice and seeing him on here.
not really, just slowing down
looks great? how long b4 a sealer can be applied?
30 to 90 days
@@OdellCompleteConcrete we really enjoy your videos. you and your crew seem to work very well together. the narration, explanation and editing are all top notch! thanks.
ty
Ok. I have the stamps and the agent. I am working a 12x20 area that's going to be a shed. When can I start building the frame? I live in Az.
Tomorrow
@@OdellCompleteConcrete ok. The next day. Got it.
I need someone to roll by my house and say “I’ll tear apart your failing apart driveway and go ahead and put in a new stamped concrete one”. Heck a road crew that has extra asphalt would be great. It is so crazy expensive to get a really damaged driveway even resurfaced
Unfortunately this is true!
You've got a powerful head of hair.
Hahahahaha
TY
Just like my dad lol
this is socal .. covered completely in concrete... hundred years ago use to be the most fertile area .. now all the concrete and overpopulation has turned it into a shopping mall parking lot that covers all of socal .. then they wonder why a tiny rain causes massive flooding.. its because the water can't be absorbed into the ground... half the houses in socal should not exist.. a lot of it is because of the invasion they've had out there for 50 years.. I just so would never want to live in that madness .. the weather is great.. everything else not so much
Everybody wants to be the perfect weather within 10 miles of the beach.
Great job fellas, your workmanship is amazing ❤
How much per square foot is a reasonable estimate for me to budget for a job like this in the northeast?
10000
@@OdellCompleteConcrete I appreciate your response, love your videos and workmanship.
@@OdellCompleteConcrete 10K dollars per square foot ? Really
👍 Looks awesome 😎
Thanks 👍
Can you tell me how much it costs to do this job? Beautiful as always!
$15,000
👍👍
👍👍
Seems pretty light on the gravel.
no need in gravel in Southern CA.
Some of the concrete was also about 7” deep in some areas. Much stronger than adding more gravel and thinning out the concrete slab.
@@OdellCompleteConcrete
Thanks for letting me know.
A person can always dig out more to get x depth with or without gravel.
I wasn't knocking your work.
I think you guys do very nice work.
Will you go back to seal it ?
I think the home owner is handling it
I’m wondering how long the customer needs to keep his minivan in the garage. I enjoyed the video
One week
He love O'Dell concrete longg time

Curious how much for a pony wall 60 feet long and about 3 feet high. Does not need to be solid concrete.
not solid. cost is around 3500
@@OdellCompleteConcrete It is on a slight slope does that affect the price?
no
Beats the electric lawnmowers. 😂I like the textured look. 👍🏼👍🏼
I concur
TY
Where is your location?
I'm sure there are stress cracks in that pad on the stamped part if you were out there on sliders like that. Otherwise great job
Why
Nice quality work. Although to each their own, I personally don't like how its more concrete than nature. I think it would have looked nicer if they didn't put any concrete to the right side of their sidewalk leading up to the main entrance. That way the whole right side could be their "garden" section. This along with more planters along the house permiter would look better IMO.
To each his own
Way lower maintenance for busy lives probably led to it.
It's so very wells dones best friend's ok thankyous for the whole beautiful drive ways production's I loves these amazing beautiful communitys neighborhoods beautiful services concretes patio's settings about everything's well designed and looks so very fantastic and so wonderful 👍😊👍🙏🤳🦺😊👍👀👀👂👂💪💪✌️✌️💞💞💞🤩😍🥰🥰🤗🤗🤗💯💯💯💯💯
Good stuff!! The real deal!
Not like that concrete pumper that thinks he’s the best but all he knows how to do is pump concrete and demo😂😂

Do yourself a favor and get 20 sheets of plywood and use them as mats so you don't get stuck like that. Even with tracked machines it tears up less.
Sounds good
It looks like the van is trapped in the garage for a few days : )
Yes
I don’t understand the round planter not even in the middle .
No sealer???
Later after it cures
First 👍
Yes
You did it again
