I worked at the gas station and he would stop in. The interior was standard S10 but the ground effects totally changed the outside. It was just cool.

I had an Eldorado and Baritz, (misspelling?) pimped to the gills and back again with top options for their time. The burgundy Eldorado trim on the passenger side was off by almost 1/2” on the door from the body and the dark blue with stainless skirts and roof had half a box of sockets and the impact gun under the back seat. We couldn’t figure out why the center hump was so much higher then on the burgundy car until we pulled the seat and found all those tools from the factory. QC was certainly hit or miss back then so it’s entirely likely there was no accident especially when my “high-end” cars had a few. We couldn’t find a fitting for the impact gun so we re-plumbed it and it still worked. Kinda crappy, cheapo Harbour Freight modern gun is better.

Friends, family, and myself have had countless 90's gm vehicals. Mostly GMC and Chevy's. Never had a problem. Early 2000's gm's have terrible gauge and dash electronics.
Have to be honest.........I had one about 18 years ago, a 92 as well, and it was very temperamental and a bunch of crap broke on it. But it was a fun little truck!
Love the Syclones and Typhoons, but did something happen to the front right side? The bumper and hood aren't as straight as the left. Even the front blinker is pushed back.
I had the same issue with my air. It turned out to just be the ground wire for the blower fan. The ground was under the hood on the passenger side near the fire wall. Hope that helps.
Man as a former owner of a white 1994 GMC Jimmy this is too cool lol, but man wrapping my head around pairing "fast" with the word "blazer" is just impossible. My Jimmy was slow as hell off the line. lol
Gm detuned the cyclone and typhoon. Before putting it out for sale because it best the Corvette(mainly), Camaro and Trans-am. Some did escape the factory untouched.

Biggest problem in the english language today is that it's likely the only language where 9500=ninety five hundread and nine thousand five hundread. Kinda makes us normal people think 95000 and not 9500.
I would point out the mismatch between the right side of the bumper cover and the body cladding but having seen the exact same issue on a showroom new one... Aslo, having owned three S-10 trucks and a Blazer I can attest that the AC controls always break and so do the transmissions.
I pointed that out too, but this ain't a mismatch. The headlight is off, and the blinker is falling in. The hood isn't aligned on that side either. Definitely previous damage. Also curious that the passenger seat was reupholstered/replaced. Finally at the end of the video 11:19, you can see the rear passenger moulding is off too, but that could be age... looks like a bad accident overall though.
The body cladding is horrible on these things. My boss has one and has been struggling to get his mint, and his car only has 26k miles and no accidents. It’s just shitty GM quality.

Yeah, the Grand National and Typhoon look like plane boring early 90's cars to the average Joe. The rest of us know better. I've never ridden in either vehicle, but I know they are awesome. They remind me of Ford's SHO.

Yup! Just make sure that the passenger seat is "waterproof". :D Might also want to add supplemental restraints to that seat. For safety reasons, of course. Whose safety? You get to decide!
They also made a truck version. Think it was called the Cyclone. And a friend of mine in high school had that truck. We went cruising one Saturday night and from a rolling start the cyclone killed a Ferrari 308 without even trying.

The AC broke in an early nineties GM vehicle? You don't say. My dad had a 91 Sonoma with the 4.3 and a 5 speed. It was a zippy truck without the turbo.
I had a 98 5sp 4.3L Sonoma 230K+ miles on it drove like a champ until it started having starting issues...
