My new GE washer makes a very loud, banging/hammering noise when spinning and the machine moves across the floor about a foot. Clothes are not unbalanced. You don't show how to remove the agitator to check the gear.
To remove the agitator, reversing the installation steps (shown on 2:10 min). Line up the botton guide with the hole then catch them using a screw drive through the hole and take the top of agitator and turn it counter clockwise and pull out. Now, about unbalance issues check the suspension as well. Any other inquiry very welcome isbatechsolutions@gmail.com
Probably someone had worked before. Otherwise the machine is not too old, so it might be a manufacturer assembly issue. However, after it was performed didn't get loose anymore. Thanks for your comment
It’s not broke, or makes noise. Just another video for views. That’s to loosen the drum to take Motor undneath off to replace belt.🙄 don’t give people high hopes.
Too bad you can't actually hear the washer's noise over the music.
MY problem fixed. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!
