its like the movie predator but its Arnold hunting the Yautja, but instead of setting off a nuke at the end he calls in the marine's for orbital bombardment!
Damn, great sci-fi stream of consciousness, sucks the guy didn't make it...or did he? That sync message at the end makes me wonder if this army has upload tech along with it's other combat goodies.
Next thing you know it's: Hey, you. You’re finally awake. You were trying to cross the border, right? Walked right into that Imperial ambush, same as us, and that thief over there.
It's better to be behind a tree or a bush in terms of invisibility than shields or armor for durability. What's the axiom? Better not to get hit than have armor?
The onion of survivability: Don't be detected. If detected, don't be acquired. If acquired, don't be hit. If hit, don't be penetrated. If penetrated, don't be killed. There's a different one for air combat, but it's the same idea.
I get the feeling the author enjoys BSG. Frack is the universal swear of choice for the future. I feel bad for the poor soldier. Horribly wounded and exhausted, they have no chance if they give into sleep. Though they seemed to embrace the mentality about Adrenaline being a hell of a drug.
Go do their job then come back and talk to me. Intel is a thankless job with impossible standards, unrealistic timelines and absolutely no credit for all the times they get things right. You want omniscient talk to the deity of your choice. And if for one second you think the Intel guys don't care about the guys on the ground then I invite you to look at the rates of alcoholism and suicide for them.
@@MrGoesBoom yeah if you wanna see what's going on in the click around your foxhole. But the issue is getting your Intel back to those guys. If command could get that back to them in a real time fashion it would increase the quality of what you get handed on the field. Not to mention the limitations on all the other assets the spookes have which are mostly dated relics.
Damn that was good. Loved the 1st person & stream of consciousness. Hope the message got through. Would love for him to have made it but that was a lot of damage.

Just resting your eyes after wounds and bleeding?

Having the technology to "save game" before a battle makes recruiting easier.
It means he reached the Save Point.
@@lawrencem.37 I laughed way too hard at this
I see the naked sky and I taste the dirt. Dark at the edges and closing in. I look down at my red shirt... Coulton definitely had that end pegged.
