Just stunning - finishing the roof with that astroturf really is above and beyond and that solid oak interior just looks fab and completely timeless !!!!
I wish I could afford you guys. All your work looks incredible and like you say, ''no one builds them as high quality" as you. Keep up the grate work, and maybe one day I will be able to afford you lol
Glad he's OK and hope there's no longterm covid effects for John. Liam how do you fit your pattress to allow hanging of TV, heater..or have I missed it on a previous video? Thanks as always.
I love seeing your work, there's no way I'll ever be able to afford one of these, but it would be good to know what the overall cost of your builds is in the video. Also, from a prospective customers point of view, at the end of the video you mention going to your website, but there's no link in the video description nor is there a link in your Channels "about" section. Just thought it would be useful to point that out.
Love these videos. Such awesome attention to detail. What was the metal sheeting used for the rear of this one? Doing a build later this summer and one side is extremely tight to boundary and looking at sheeting like this. Thanks
Very nice finish. The oak frames and skirts look cool. Maybe you could user cedar too and oil them to match the outside, I remember the feature wall you did in cedar and that was awesome. Quick question about the grass. The turf has drain holes but they are made for it to drain down through the grano it's laid on. When laid on concrete a lot of companies recommend drilling drain hols through concrete. With the turf on the roof the drain hols won't really work because.of the rubber so how does it drain? Are you hoping the fall on the roof is steep enough?
Hello Liam, love your work. Would you recommend using SIP panels for a garden room? we are planning on having a 12 foot x 10 foot room built in our small garden and the guy who came round to quote suggested we use them. Can you please advise? is it a good idea?
hi I don't see any issue with them at all mate. We just build it our way as we feel its a better finish. They've been used for a long time now and are used in house extensions regularly .
Nice job, how is the turf stuck to the roof and does it just overlay the same roof as detailed in the build pack. Just nearlyvfinished mine and the roof would be a good addition if it's simple to do ??? Thanks in advance Mike 👍
Hey, im in your raffle so hopefully will win lol. But will be looking at doing this even if I don't. I was wondering if you could give me a ball park figure on how much a whole project would cost in materials? So I have an idea on what I'm getting myself into lol
@@HarleyCaplin I think it's more a case of each room will cost a different price due to the specs and location, it's like taking your car for a service, you know how much it "should" cost but then you might cost more (normally not less) so a generalisation may not actually be possible We've been looking at an extension and the prices have varied by £30k so...
sure that makes sense with the privacy, just wondering a ballpark figure as obviously these are built to a very high spec and have had such variations with quotes online myself, but would be leaning towards something longer lasting built with better quality materials, also was wondering if the maximum size without planning permission was 6m x 4m? if built in a field away from the main highway
Never had mate, occasionally get hair line cracks around ceiling wall joint, but that’s nothing and all new build houses get these, never been called back to a crack 🤪
Yeah I have a crack at wall to celing joint...build last June. Reckon that could be the cheap shit plaster I could get my hands on then. Filled with decorators caulk and painted...never tell
@@thegardenroomguru Perfect timing then Liam, these are my next jobs and I don't want to go wrong with them so need your expertise. Look forward to the videos very soon. Many thanks for all you do and share.
We've spent a good 3 weeks going over and over your videos, going to tackle a 5x3 garden build in next 2 weeks. Thanks for all the top tips

it drain onto the rubber below, and runs off as normal, if not a little slower
Is it glued on or just laid on top mate? Looks cool though
Would love one of these... how much would this spec set me back?
Lovely job, Do you get, or does the customer get an electrical contractor to run the supply to the room
They do it
how much do these things cost i'll like to build same please - thanks
How much would cost me to have 1 of this beauty?😃

There is a video from a few weeks back with full details of installing the astroturf .. scroll back a few videos and you will find it
I wish you'd work dahn saaf. Trying to find someone around here to build a garden room for us.
They said they were going on tour so I’m sure if you paid them southern prices they would do the job lol
Im down south could always do one for you

How much did it cost?
Liam change your bleedin ring tone i keep looking to my phone when yours rings .AS ALWAYS A GREAT BUILD,☘☘☘☘
what is full price of this installation including paving and electrics?
Don’t think he’ll answer that as he has to respect the customers financial privacy and may not want the cost of their build outlined online.
Exactly that I’m afraid
