      Yes, I agree, the Kubota WSM is very generic when it talks about doing the steps. Coming from a military background where tech manuals (TM) are very descriptive on the steps necessary to perform a task. An AF TM would tell you to remove the headlights by twisting the headlamp holder a quarter turn counterclockwise, Remove the clip holding the headlamp harness using a pair of needle nose pliers, and remove the four bolts securing the hood using a 13mm socket. Kubota's WSM only states, "Remove the hood."

    Great job ! You know as often as the manual says change coolant they should have put a twist valve like most cars so it wouldn't be so hard to do. Got to do mine maybe in spring. Have A Blessed Day !

      I edited out a comment to that effect. I think it might be easier if you have the oil filter off. I still love my BX despite the challenges that come with maintenance. I was going to do the coolant, fuel filters, and oil filters two weeks ago, but my camera malfunctioned. So I finished the oil and fuel filter changes and put the coolant change on hold until I got my camera working again. Thanks for commenting and sharing your thoughts.

    Great job Bob can I ask where you got the light bar ?

    • @botabob
      @botabob  2 роки тому

      The light bar was made by Paul Short. He is located in Newfoundland , Canada. I don't know if this light bar is still available, but if you go to Paul & Kathy Short UA-cam channel or their website 'Specialty Repairs Custom Mods' you can contact them from there. They are very responsive to inquires. I saw some new auxiliary Light kits they are offering that might be a better option. But, the Stealth Light Bar what it was called and it is slick. Here is a link to my video when I installed the light bar - ua-cam.com/video/LmYBo31IRjo/v-deo.html You can find a bitly link on the video in the description to their UA-cam Channel. Thanks for watching and commenting - Enjoy the journey - cheers

    I went with Peak...... What I desire is to go to some kind of synthetic...... Just the only fluid I have not covered it yet. I did jump on Peak..... as it is not animal poison.

      I hope you are doing well Thomas. I have heard of Peak, but did not know it's benefits. Thank you for sharing the fact that Peak is not poisonous. That is so important. I bought this several years ago and had it sitting around the shop. This was the first time I used the premixed coolant.

    How did you know you needed to move your radiator? When you put your transmission fan in

    • @botabob

      I knew I needed to move the radiator when I didn't have enough room to remove the HST propeller shaft. It's not hard to do. And, you can move it without draining the coolant. There is a tech bulletin from Kubota that describes the process for replacing the HST fan. It helped me a lot.
