In a class III case sometimes wisdom teeth can be extracted in order to help the growth of the upper palate to reach a good relationship or rather stunt the forward advancement of the bottom jaw when undergoing maxillary expansion
@@BMO4ever sure, a ‘relationship’ in dental terms is the relationship between the upper and lower jaw in size, ‘class III’ is the term for when you have a bigger lower jaw than your upper jaw. Removing wisdom teeth from the bottom stops the lower jaw from being pushed forward because they are stationed behind your lower teeth and growing through, this worsens the class III, so you can stop that while widening the upper jaw resulting in a better jaw relationship, meaning the two jaws are equal and you have a developed maxilla. Are you looking to under go something like this?
@@ojcarre2432I’ve considered this in my own underbite case. I wonder if lower jaw wisdom teeth extraction is still a good idea as someone in my mid 20s. I’ve been looking into maxillary expansion but fear that any sort of rapid expansion would heavily exacerbate my already existing skeletal cranial asymmetry. I’d like to initially start out with a more gradual, balanced approach to expansion.

I had tooth extraction and was given nothing other than a injection to numb the area before the procedure Who are these dr's prescribing opioids for tooth extraction ?
JawHacks my face is flat due to needing an expander and my ortho ignored it and just straightened and pushed things back. I have TMJD and grinding wearing my back teeth. It caused me to mouth breathe more and I developed a severe deviated septum, but I got it fixed recently. I used to have an overbite and they pushed my maxilla back. What I notice is my top wisdoms aren't impacted but the bottoms are. This tells me the reason I ahd an overbite was that my lower jaw was underdeveloped with a narrow palate. What expansion shall I seek? I am almost 16.
None of my patients have developed an opioid addiction from wisdom teeth removal.
Didn't paul lose his licenses?
why thought? Was he getting to old to practice?
Yes just heard about it. Read a few forums about it too. Was wild

Can you share some sources that explain it?
@@BMO4ever i can’t link any websites about it but I got this information first hand from a practitioner that specialises in palatial expansion
@@ojcarre2432 I see. Could you maybe explain it more detailed? I would be very thankful because I didn't quite understand it.

Any news for Dr. Coceancig? Is he getting his license back?
Afaik he was serial botching and scamming people, so that probably wouldn't be a good thing

Btw my crossbites relapsed revealing that my ortho left my palate narrow because he squished my bottom teeth inwards
