Good video but you did rotate the crank the wrong direction when setting timing lol. These motors are counter clockwise. And there are 2 holes in the first cam cap to put Allen wrenches like 5 or 6 mm to hold the cams in place as well. Keep the vids coming though
I have a f22b dohc non vtec. Where did you get the water pump. I'm having tons of issues finding one. Was told to use the pump for a 2.3 but it didn't line up correctly.
It's held in place by 10 mm bolts. You have to remove the bolts that hold the oil pick up tube under the oil pump. So you have to drop the oil pan and you will see them.
So good man. I appreciate your time. It’s a shame you don’t have more of subs. People only care about civics and k series. Not me. Thank you
Work with what you have is how I handle things. But thanks for always watching and commenting.
Just found this. Doing same on my 98 prelude. 70 retired lineman. Driving my 06 subaru sti for now
hope your repairs goes smoothly. Dont want to have too much fun in the sti. might lead you to turboing the prelude.
H22 timing belt fits H23
Great video , I'm having a hard time finding a timing belt kit 😕
Not sure. Check rockauto.com they will have it
Great Video Fam.
Thanks for watching.
You're Welcome 😊
Thanks for this bro 👌🏼

Agreed, is suppose to be turned counter clockwise….

Got everything from rockauto.com
Is it possible you could provide what part or part # kit you order from rockauto same here I have a f22b dohc I would like to rebuild thank you.
what year prelude is this for? i have a 1989 i just bought and i want to replace it. Looks like the same engine but i can't tell.
If its a h22 or h23 then it will work. I belive you have a gen 3 prelude. Which is the time is very similar
@@AJIMPORTS yeah its a stock 3rd gen
So I just done a f20b swap in my cd5 and I realize I have to swap the oil pump. I see you skipped right over how exactly you took it off

Not suppose to turn clockwise ??
This guy don't have TMs
Where’s the crank shaft sensor?
It would be next to the crank timing pulley. But this is a obd1 motor. So does not have it
How do I knw if I have an obd1 ?
If you don't have a crank sensor on the oil pump
Tbh I dnt now anything about a Honda bro I bought one and it came with an h22a swap it cranks but won’t turn on got no fuel pressure no spark
@dannyws696 check your main relay under the dash. It sends power to the fuel pump and tell the ecu to turn on.
