Looking great, much better....Just a suggestion for the cladding next to the bed on the bits above the table, I would put a curved radius on the corner, that would hurt the leg if you caught it jumping out and after watching your journey....minimise the risk.....😀😉

One suggestion - could you fit some sort of fold down or pull out to go over the seat next to the cooker which is flush with the worktop so that you have something to prepare food on? Or maybe you have a blank which inserts over the sink for this anyway?

Van looks good. I've just watched a few of your videos. Don't forget you need copper pipes for the gas in a moving vehicle. You can't keep the flexi hose because they can move and also perish.

Looking so much better. One idea maybe to build some board which goes over the hob so you can chop things for cooking. Then can just take it of to cook.

I've been watching your videos on my other channel since the Ford Galaxy stealth camping one went viral a couple of years ago, and now I've got my own van and I knew one day all these van life videos I've been watching will be helpful! It's good to see you looking really happy with your van finally - the kitchen looks so much better now that you've custom made it. I was thinking about getting something already made like what you had before because people are always giving stuff away for free, but I think in the end making something to your exact requirements will always win, plus the satisfaction of knowing everything was DIY.

Will looks brill . with laminate worktop. If you put masking tape where youre cuts going. Then cut to the line drawn on the tape it wont chip. Now you can pass on the knowledge from neil. Youre learning so much very quickly. Well done

Another van channel had a good idea if you get the smaller porta potty with the smaller tank it fits into a large shopping bag so you can stealth empty it in a public/shop/services toilet

Great Build! No space for cutting and prep though, unless you use your pull out table. Get your mate to make a bread board that sits in the top part of your sink so you can have a sink or extra prep room

Coming along mint...deffo agree always a good idea to learn from people who know what there doing. Having a bit of a laugh along the way makes it so much better...1 thing i would do is cover the the 2 plastic taps underneath as close to the wheel and anything can fly up and break or snap them off and wouldn't know until you've stopped and wanted water ...looking forward to the next video ...
I would put a removable/ retractable counter top between your new kitchen and the bed for some extra counter space while you cook. When it’s time to eat you could just remove that extra counter and sit

One of the few bennies of being short, working on my small van, I was able to set the bed lengthwise and add a pullout to expand if needed when the missus tagged along on trips. I know taller people need a lot more space, but for once, my stature paid off hahaha. Opened up a ton of space for other additions for me. It's been great watching your journey from your first vehicle to this point and watching your skills improve by leaps during this build.
As my CDT teacher used to say "Keep both hands behind the cutting edge"!

Hi Will, First of all your good friend Neil is one a kind guy who is always willing to help you out, he gives off really good vibes, You both have such a great friendship, OMG your Van looks absolutely amazing, I love all that you have done, The Cooker, Oven, Grill…..you certainly can live in your Van as you have Water, Gas, Electricity, as the saying goes the best things come to those who wait…..you certainly have waited alright! 😊👍
If you get a really long cushion for a backrest. You can turn bed into sitting areA and people add a reverse osmosis in faucet

A tip from what we did with our porta-a-loo was to use a bit of scrap ply that was slightly bigger than the base of the loo and then attached some very small wheels to the underside of the ply. Just put a small strip of wood front and back on the ply so the loo fits snugly between them and doesn't slide off the ply when you roll it in and out of the cupboard. Works a treat.

My only concern is your heater exhaust is right next to your fridge. That seems to be a bad placement.
Are you gonna be posting vanlife during summer? Think you should consider 2 ceiling ventilation fans to help with cross breeze and cooking fume. A roof top deck would also be nice to climb up onto while parked on cliffs and looking at the oceans in your country.

Well done Neil. The sockets by the seat above the toilet storage aren't really in a good place when in use and someone sitting there but that is easily sorted.

To stop laminate worktop chipping out you need to cut the worktop upside down so the blade cuts upwards into the laminate face. Hope that makes sense.

Turning round in your drivers seat will you have leg/feet room and you’ll need to build up a step to rest your feet on to stop them hanging
You really don’t give yourself enough credit mate, you’ve come a long way baby. Yes you’ve had some help but knowing when to ask for help, and being brave enough to do it, is a fantastic thing. Pat yourself on the back, go back and watch some of your own videos and see what you’ve battled thru, many of us would have gone screaming mad and torched the van by now. Also, never forget, you’ve got great legs. 😂
I am sure I am not alone in saying that doing the job twice IS a part of vanlife. If I have had a quid for every time I have done things twice, after testing out my "genuius office ideas" in real life, I would be....well, not a rich man but enough for a very nice dinner :)
The alternative is otherwise to stay in the garage. Better just do it, experience it and then doing it again and then experience it once again until done. You guys are doing just fine! Keep it up :)

Looks tidy, both the under and inner setup. Watched some of Neil's vids, must have understanding neighbors,he never stops. Depends on what doing but, I like having someone around to bounce ideas off and learn a little while doing most things. Only time I don't, is when doing wiring stuff, on own for that,helps me keep track. Where/when is the shakedown trip then?
Vantastic progress. The kitchen looks awesome but I would get a small washing up bowl as the big sink will waste a lot of water which is something that you want to avoid if you are going off grid camping.
Got such bad anxiety when you were cutting into yourself like that!! Then two seconds later... 😳🥴😵 I'm super careful with my hands as a guitar player/musician. I've never broken a bone either. Amazing considering I've had almost 10 near death experiences in my life. Two things I'm massively phobic of! Looks like your van is coming along very well! Great stuff! 👍👌✌️👏😎

Nobody should ever be worried about asking for help especially if it's to learn skills! And as a joiner I'll always say anyone can do it we are just faster and probably abit more neat

The new kitchen looks great. I would make one comment though. Those cupboard latches will open when items inside the cupboard bump up against the door. The pushbutton lock latches hold much better but they are more expensive.
From a people carrier that made you flip a table to this almost finished van. The journey is truly there and you should be proud. A lot of people give up half way but you clearly have a vision for your future. I can't wait until you're bouncing around in Europe in your shiny van. Just a heads up, those underside tanks will freeze if you go somewhere cold. Taps too. I put a heater on my set up and it's basic. It's a huge help.
