I don't know because 2 are still in the box. But the other 2 hit really hard. I couldn't believe that so much bass can come out of boxes so small. And the bass is really deep and and tight. That's why I purchased the second pair.
I bought this sub two years ago and still love it. I have one 12" sub in each L&R tower, but the added 15 from Starke made a big difference down low. It digs deep and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. For the price, it's hard to beat. Loved the review!
Great job on the starke review I have 2 sw15 in my bedroom set up. If not pushed toooo hard (but still pushed decently hard) they sound great and really pressurize my room (17x11x8)
Wow….an original subscriber! 🙌 Thank you and sorry for the production quality way back when 🤣 SW15 might be a while……I need to learn REW so I can include measurements and got some other projects in the works. I appreciate your patience and continued support!
Thanks man. I cant bring myself to watch my old videos lol Yea def want to see what your theater looks like afterward. What’s your setup gonna be like?
@hatoraidcowboy build is still in process. Gonna be multiple anywhere from 2 to 4 Starke SW15 or RSL12s. Still gotta order RSL and see which one I like the most. In the end my system will be 7.4.6.
I've not heard the Starke subs, but after seeing this video (and not being aware of Starke Sound till this video) I went to their website to check the numbers and assuming they are honest, and no reason to doubt at this point, they are good recording their speakers and subs. Very Good. Their 10 inch sub claiming a frequency response of 18Hz - 300 Hz, 350W RMS Peak is 800W. I have not verified price, but think it is below $600 which is a mid priced subwoofer. I am one to believe all subwoofers should be able to play down in the mid 20's HZ area for any 12 inch or larger subwoofer. The fact Starke is claiming below 20 HZ with their 10 inch sub is impressive as is the warranty on their products.
The value for Starke Subs is great and the performance is shocking at the price. They are incredible subs and you dont pay out the wazoo. Try them out!
I have 2 of these, man, people are sleeping on these subwoofers, this is my first home theater system and I'm so glad i picked up these subwoofers, they can compete with any other subwoofer in that price range, glad i made the decision to buy them and i bought them when they was $499 a piece.
Great review, how big is your space? Do they pressurize your room? Would 4 of these be better than a single 18? Was wanting a rythmic f18 but could get 4 of these! But the f18 digs into 10 hz and it’s supposed to be extremely accurate.
@ thanks for the response. It’s so hard to decide with so many options but your reviews help! I’m currently moving to arendal speakers based on your reviews and others. I’m trying to buy my endgame setup with subs. I currently have hsu usl mk2, sealed sub and it’s great. Jtr subs are out of my reach or else I’d go with those. Well, after watching many reviews and reading all the praise worthy comments on it, I ordered 2 at the sale price of $499. Hoping I like them as much as everyone else! Replacing 2 Klipsch R-120SW. Excited to see how much deeper they can dig!
@hatoraidcowboy I'll let ya know soon. Should be here in a few days. My Klipsch were ported, but still only rated down to 28hz I believe. I see the SW15's even though are sealed, go down to 14hz!!
Hello, greetings, I saw your videos about that subwoofer, the sealed version and the ported version and I want to listen to it in a good microphone to be able to appreciate it much better, greetings 🙏👍
I thought you also reviewed a HSU VTF-15H MK2 subwoofer but don't see it now. How do these 2 compare? I'm debating if I should wait for a B1G1 on this Starke or just buy one more HSU and stick with 2 subs.

I know it's overkill and I tend to be compulsive 😂😂🤷🏻♂️ dual SVS SB3000's stacked in front of me 7' away and now Dual stacked Starke SW15's directly behind me maybe 15" away The overhead is right where I like it! I bought this sub a month ago. I replaced 3 SB1000. This thing does not disappoint. I was a little disappointed when a week later they went on sale for buy 1 get 1 half off. I sent an email to see if I could pay the difference and get the deal. No one responded. So after a couple days I sent anther email and told them to forget the first email. No response to that email either. After dealing with SVS customer support, I assumed Starke would be the same way. I guess I was wrong. The sub is pretty awesome.
Sw15 vs svs pb 2000 pro. Which sounds the best irrespective of price. I can’t audition them here. I need to made my decision by tomorrow. Please help me!
The SVS is gonna be much better built with an app, but 15” over 12” I would go with the SW15 all day for the price. And you can basically get two SW15’s for the price of one PB2000 pro if you catch them on the BOGO sale
Well that’s not a fair comparison lol The SW15 has a bigger driver yes, but the SVS is built much better. It’s a tank with more features and customization. Overall the SVS is a better built and quality sub but at the price point of the SW15 the SW15 wins hands down with a 15” driver
So far outstanding!!! For this price and performance is anything matching these? I have stacked SVS 3000's in front of me and yes another Stack of SW15's right behind my seated position and absolutely equal in my room, woah!!! Calibration ✅ Blade Runner 2049 which I know this movie inside and out, outstanding! Pushed way beyond what i normally listen at for most of movie (family was at a fair) 😁😁💥🔊💥🔊💥🔊💥🔊So far, 🔥
Im looking to pick up a sw15, starkes site says holiday sale starts nov 1st. Any idea what type of discount or deals they will offer? Should i wait for Nov 1st?
@LameGaming I dont have any info on sales numbers but I would wait. They USUALLY do a buy one get one free on those. But I’m not sure. However any sale is better than full price 😁

Buyer beware!!! Purchased 5-31, delivered 6-7, on 7-1 new price dropped by $50.00 from my price, Starke declined a price protection saying it was over 30 days?
