thought id share my excperiance with you all since my 8K pro arrived yesterday I pre-ordered the device while based in Dubai and was thrilled to receive it on November 18th. The service was outstanding, and the packaging was excellent. I had high hopes for this product. However, after unpacking the 8K Pro and adding my 16 TB Seagate Exos drive, things quickly started to go downhill. When I powered on the device and attempted to create my account by clicking on "Video," the screen went black and then returned me to the main menu, stating it could not connect to R_Cloud. After multiple attempts, I finally managed to create my account and add my token. I then tried to add my movies to R_Video. While the movies were added, I was disappointed to find that I was not getting any previews when clicking on a title; all I could hear was the soundtrack from the film. When I managed to play one movie, it stuttered and buffered for the first few moments before finally settling down. After turning off the device for the night, I was hopeful for a better experience in the morning. However, when I added ten more movies, the lack of previews persisted. Attempting to play a newly added movie resulted in the same frustrating message: "unable to connect to R_Cloud." Overall, my experience with this device has been incredibly disappointing. I sincerely hope that the issues I'm encountering are specific to my setup and not indicative of a larger problem with the device itself. I was expecting a "premium" experience, as advertised, but so far, it has fallen short. Do you have any advice on how to resolve these issues? Should I consider installing a VPN

mmh big screen yes. But its all about an working concept. Best cinemas are in my opinion just look & conceptswise from the company ,,hollywoodzuhause,, :-). But the screen looks awesome. I personally prefer to have an Bass Array / Bafflewall instead of just 1-2 big subs but thats all taste :-)

What is he doing to pass bass from the storm to the Denon via HDMI? Is this a specific thing the storm can do (I can't find mention of it searching) or is he just passing the full audio signal via multi room and only connecting subs to the Denon and letting EQ figure out the delay?

I just bought a factory refurbished Cinema 60. Paid $999 instead of $1700. Great deal,came with a 5 year extended warranty. Came in a Marantz box that has all the necessary information and a Factory Refurbished label along with factory seals on the flaps. I got everything he did in the box. I set it up and it took a while to go through the set up. Once it’s set up I watched a 4K BluRay and it played great. I’ve had it 4 days now and it’s much nicer than my Denon AVR 9019 that I’ve owned over 10 years.

Ok my Sony tv has Imax Enhanced for picture. If I watch Imax content do I need to select the Imax Enhanced on the tv?

Don't recall getting a clear view of the front of the room. Setup is over-the-top. but a view of the front would be great.

Best home theater of the Chicago tour so far. It's nice to see a home theater that not only is powerful and sounds nice with lots of tactile bass, but you can also tell that the owner put consideration into the aesthetics as well.

Your doing a amazing job, I've watched you from the start and you have come a long way. Keep these tours coming, send out flyers to everyone in the home theater community and let them know. Have camera and will travel, lol.

I really love to experience what jtr sound like in person, idk if there any demo room for the jtr in the Carolina area. On side note, this is a really nice set up, do people experience hearing loss after hearing a jtr system

Scott just gets it. It’s about the experiences and sharing them with family and friends. All the equipment doesn’t mean much if you aren’t able to watch movies with your family or do demos for your friends. I don’t have a dedicated room yet, but I have a system that sounds better than anyone I know has. Rooms like this inspire me for what’s to come down the road for me. This is an amazing hobby and I hope it only grows. Cheers to you both! 🍻

Really an excellent video. Thank you. So did Oppo license their technology/design/software to Magnetar? The menus appear to be identical, so it looks like it's Oppo re-born. I just wonder how much Oppo-tech ended up in the Magnetar UDP-800 and UDP-900 products? Does anyone know?

What we need is showing how to install plex ONTO the NAS with Docker, not just linking a shared folder. I want to use my NAS as the server not the PC.

The thing I hate about speakers like this, where music is made, in the studios, these speakers are never used for mixing and mastering. When audio engineers trust to hear the instruments perfectly to mix, they don't use these kinds of products. They may sound good but are simply made for a market of people that have the "I paid a lot there for they are the best" mindset. I can show you speakers that probably cost 1/20th or less of their cost that not only sound amazing, are trusted by professionals that actually MAKE the albums.
