I love all of the components, but I wouldve loved it more if that huge print was on the blank wall opposite the window to add interest to that blank space, add more flow to the design and let the green wall do the talking as it feels like a lot going on on one wall next to an unfinished wall
Totally agree. A statement wall like that, framed by the beautiful lamps, should be able to shine unobstructedly, whereas the blank wall on the left could've used that print
I agree! As she was bringing in the beautiful print I sat here whining..."not on the limewash...not on the limewash". Gorgeous room though. It needs to be a series.
The lime wash wall is SO INCREDIBLE!!! When you brought in the print I thought NOOOOOO, not on the amazing wall!!! It would have worked much better on the plain white wall. But best of all would be all 3 walls in the lime wash!
i’d love to see you recreate dakota johnson’s inconic kitchen (even though you’ve already done green kitchens in the past) and something with the vibe of troye sivan’s AD tour. james killing the editing once again 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻
Beautiful! Kind of wish you had put the art print on a different wall. It covered up some of the beautiful variation in the lime wash that makes that wall so pretty and special!
I agree the wall and that lime wash was a feature in the Insp that brought a vibe to the space. by having the wall as it is allows for that restraint and simplicity that I think was an element to the design.
Same, I think the art print could go on the side wall, or it shouldnt be there art all. the beautiful green limewash is a statement of its own, and it already draws your eye up cause its so expansive.
Alexandra tends to go trendy in every design she does. Two things that doesn't fit...the big print and those puffy pillows placed next to the super flat pillows. Uggggg
I LOVE this idea! I used to watch the HGTV shows that had this concept and was sad when they ended. It doesn't necessarily have to be a celebrity, just a picture of a high-end design.
Daaaaaaniiiiiieeeeee!!! Love her! Love her outfit too! And the headboard!!! She’s really Alexandra’s sparkly, free spirited alter ego and Alexandra is Danie’s calm and steady alter ego. Both talented women! I love them together!❤️💕🌼
This looks gorgeous! I might however, added a curtain to soften the window area. Thought I guess it wouldn't be in keeping with the dupe. You really nailed this.
Love how you design peoples s spaces to make them more functional and attractive. As an older person I have had to downsize to smaller spaces and they seemed to be getting smaller. Thinking that might be another market for you. I think that you are very talented and Graham is such a treasure. I don't know the other members of your team as well, but your results are very joyful.
Those geometric boucle pillows are brilliant. When you want a little height, but not a lot of pillows. Take a moment to take in the quiet genius of this detail.
Totally should be a series! I was really questioning that wall paint but absolutely love the final product. I need it in my life but I wouldn’t put up any art because the paint IS the art.
There use to be a series on TV where the clients would bring a picture of a high end designer room. The hosts would recreate the room on the cheap. I LOVED that series
So beautiful! Pink and green are always a hit! but all the textures and how it's still so minimal. It's colorful, yet still so soothing!! amazing. love it. I wanna lime wash too hahah and yes, this should be a series!
Oh I love when designer looks are re-created on a budget. Clothing fashion and home decor! It makes you feel just as special as any celebrity and brightens your life! Thank you for doing this. The room is beautiful.
That lime wash turned out stunning!! I agree with some of the comments that the headboard could've extended a little wider but the colour is so pretty. I like the print above, it definitely brings the Team AG touch, even if a departure in style from the inspo. I think this would be an amazing series for your channel! I'd love to see Mandy Moore's bedroom recreated!
Obsessed with the entire space! The lime wash, the pillows, the lights, the headboard and the art. This gave me the motivation to redo my bedroom! Keep up the amazing work. Your rooms are always phenomenal and it makes me sad to see the negative comments people give you. You are a style icon!
I appreciate the shout outs to Canadian businesses. I buy a lot from the US (and deal with customs fees and tariffs etc., which is a pain) simply because I don't know of a Canadian equivalent. I'll be checking out that linen business for sure.
To achieve a leather wall Look: tear brown paper bag torn into irregular shapes paint it with gloss or colored gloss will look just like Leather... 60's look make sure you poly over it as Bugs Love Glue ... But if walls are bad then it's an inexpensive remake for a Home not a Rental to cover up bad Walls another thing you can do is use cutouts from magazines and glue Those to the Wall... Great one money is minimal !!... Also one can put material onto the Wall as was also very Popular in the 60's ....
I was really questioning that wall but it’s stunning! I want one in my livingroom now 💚 it’s like a beautiful marble effect. Personally I would have put the print on the white side wall but overall it’s beautiful :)
I love the print you put over the bed, the models room looked too naked without the art. I am obsessed with the sage green lime wash it looks like watercolor! Also the dusty rose headboard is everything!!!
Beautiful bedroom makeover and the picture frame looks gorgeous on that wall over the bed. If u would of placed it anywhere else it just wouldn't fit. Great job like always.
I love it! I watched Danie make the headboard. I made mine from an old door cut down which was about 1” thick. I added foam then a fixed cover made from curtain lining. The top cover was a slip cover which could be pulled on. This meant it could be removed for dry cleaning or washed. If using washable fabric wash it first though in case it shrinks. This method means you can ring the changes too.
For a headboard it Rocks 💯🎯 just nothing like that platform bed in the least as it had pale pink fabric all over it... Next time consider Faux fur as an upholstery 💡 Idea 💞
I absolutely love this room! It's uncluttered with beautiful, soothing colors. I love everything about it, especially the limewash wall and that headboard! I think this would be a perfect series for you - recreating celebrity rooms with your own twist. I vote YES! Stunning!
Great transformation...great collab with DIY Danie. New pendants are cute....old pendants were great too...don't know that I would have changed them. Could care less about celebrities' homes. Love it when you help 'normal' people upgrade their spaces.
I wasn’t sure about that lime wash but like you said, trust the process. It turned out great. It is so awesome I almost wish you hadn’t hung that print on it. The print went with everything, tied it together but it also hid that gorgeous wall. I love the glow the lights put on the line washed wall. Very warm, cozy. I just wanted to curl up with a good book! The headboard turned out so beautiful & is the perfect foil against that wall. I actually like the DIY version better.
Love that green wall! Such a beautiful color! I do wish the headboard had been more of a rust color and didn't think the print over the bed was necessary and changed the vibe of the room from that of the inspo.
Agree about the print. I’d remove it. The wall is perfect as it is. Why cover it with a huge, weird black abstract print? It changes the vibe and adds nothing. I like the pinky velvet.
OMG! Once again another amazing DIY, and so excited that you did a collab with Dani, I also love her channel. Thant headboard is so beautiful, the color is so dreamy and of course it's velvet and that is wonderful too. I really loved watching this video and can't wait for your next one, Hope you have a great week, sending love and hugs, bye for now.🥰💜
Love the Collab, it's buy or diy but better... Loved the look of the room. I'm partial to the headboard as pink hues are my fav... They can be antique, vintage to bold and stand alone shades. Thank you for sharing. You guys are sooooo talented.
Every time I think you can’t outdo yourself…YOU DO IT!!! I love this room. By the way, your hair is looking GORGEOUS and with that black dress CRAZY CUTE!!! And I love u and Dani together. Thanks for such a fun video!
@@kezzagray4659 I agree, I think the warm wood helps in this case! I would have changed the hardware on the doors though, thought they were quite dated
Yes! Please make this a regular! I would love to see a recreation of Gwyneth Paltrow’s dining room. The marble table is STUNNING, but also as expensive as a luxury car. I looked it up in hopes I could save up for it and laughed when I saw the price 😂 If you all could come up with a room that feels similar but is somewhat affordable, that would be amazing! But honestly recreating any part of her home would be great. It’s truly beautiful!
I love the wall colour/look and the way the pink headboard contrasted it. Personally I'm not a fan of the abstract art often chosen for the rooms, but as long as the client loves them, all is well.
Team AG is so wonderful. You all have such great interactions and James is such a great editor, love his humor! You can feel the vibe through the screen.
This is hands down my favorite makeover of yours! Not only that but it succeeds where the original doesn't. There is something, um, wanting in the original bedroom. You don't feel nourished by it. Yours, although it could benefit from being a little larger, still it rocks the cozy, cool, relaxing vibe that is so essential to bedrooms. Well done, that woman! And Danie rocks too! Your whole team is tops:)
This was a fun twist! It's cool seeing the original Team AG design, and that's what I want 90% of the time, but using established rooms as inspiration is fun and intriguing. Celebrity homes feature expensive all-out design that isn't accessible to most of us, so seeing a way to incorporate those elements in real life-life is inspiring.
Which celebrity’s room should I recreate next?
Ooooo I feel like Cara Delevingne's house has a lot of fun decor... Any of those rooms would be awesome to recreate
The extraordinary studio apartment of the great American decorator Billy Baldwin.
Vanessa Hudgens ❤
@candycoloredhome !!!! Her kitchen
None, stay creative and do not copy.
I love all of the components, but I wouldve loved it more if that huge print was on the blank wall opposite the window to add interest to that blank space, add more flow to the design and let the green wall do the talking as it feels like a lot going on on one wall next to an unfinished wall
I agree 100%. I love the lime wash wall - it's gorgeous. Let it speak!
Totally agree. A statement wall like that, framed by the beautiful lamps, should be able to shine unobstructedly, whereas the blank wall on the left could've used that print

Came here to say the exact same thing :)
Agreed 100%
I like it much better without the print, the green wall itself is stunning. Would love to become this a series!

I'd love to see an affordable take on Shonda Rhymes AD tour. I loved it but I don't know how to make it work on a smaller space.
Exactly I come for Alexandra's style and James's sass (so many ssss). Love it!
Beautiful! Kind of wish you had put the art print on a different wall. It covered up some of the beautiful variation in the lime wash that makes that wall so pretty and special!
Yeah i thought the same. That wall turned out beautiful
I agree the wall and that lime wash was a feature in the Insp that brought a vibe to the space. by having the wall as it is allows for that restraint and simplicity that I think was an element to the design.
Okay. But take this limewash color into a living room feature wall and have a velvet terracotta sofa. The VIBES and my new dream living room combo.
I love how Alexandra's cardigan on reveal day matches the wall!!!!! Unintentional design coordination! The darker lime wash turned out really lovely
I like this a lot. Better without the big picture over the headboard. I like the feature wall on its own.
