Kids today will never know going to a record shop and spending hours digging through vinyl. That was my favorite part of doing gigs in different cities was going to the record shops and just listening and buying records. Hahaha funny how mr cook stopped before he said technics. Haha they don't know what 1200s are haha

Love Fat Boy Slim! Saw him for first time in 97. It was a DJ set in Chicago when he was touring a Better living thru Chemistry . I wasn’t expecting a DJ set but it was great. Hard to believe he is still Djing and I think his sets just get better and better. If you aren’t having a good time at a Fatboy slim show, you need to check your pulse as you may be dead. Hopefully I will get a chance to see him again in 23/24.

Do you know what he may well not be the best technical DJ of that period or the most underground but he did create a bit of a movement based on his music and across the board seems a really creative character and I think it's obvious he cared/cares about what he does. Respect.

Man, Fatboy Slim... Him and Swedish Egil were the reasons I got into djing back in the mid 90's. He is right, djing back then was a hobby and I couldn't see myself making a living of it (not like engineering has done for me). There are times when I miss being behind the decks at clubs making people dance and feel great, though....

''Produce looks simple, and now i wan't to produce'' Hell yeah girl.. :))
It's not producing if you just re-editing track,
Producing is about building idea, making synths, making right melody, groove, bassline, and its isn't easy to make unique stuff. Because there's a lot of similar stuff out there these days. Right?

I grew up listening to FatboySLim even though there are so many different types of DJ's around today, we need to sit back and remember the first guys. the ones who really started DJ'ing, Like Fatboy he is like one of the earliest pioneers, lets not forget other beggning DJ'ers "Avalanches" "Chemical Brothers" "basement Jaxx" the band of the 90's! even if you can call them a band, most of them were just a two man crew!
