I'm betting the issue with that jeep was the auxiliary battery from what I've seen online. Good thing to look into for the future if this happen, a simply phone call telling him what to do to bypass it would have saved a lot of hassle if that was the problem.
I have a 2018 JL and have had the "privilege" of having to deal with a battery issue and that stupid dual battery system that they put in JL... Back before this auto-start-stop idiocy with dual batteries, when your battery started getting low, you could tell because the starter would turn over slower... With the current system, it just keeps working perfectly until it decides at some point to no longer work... No warning... And the original software for the 2018 model would prevent the vehicle from starting if the main battery was dead even though the aux battery was charged and could start the vehicle... I spent some time debugging my battery problem and eventually installed a larger main battery and leaving the aux battery disconnected...
What a brilliant video. We could all learn from Matts calm demeanor under pressure. Plus, just how awesome is the Morrvair! It breaks down, rescues itself and helps out the Banana!!

About the Rubicon being in gear rather than neutral "That would have been a game changer". One of the strongest admonishments I have ever seen Matt hand out.
This is either the second or third time in recent memory that Tom has told Matt the checklist was complete when it wasn't.
@@GoogleIsRuiningEverything He said it was in Neutral because the owner told him it was.
@@lyman135 still his duty to go through the checklist.
Never listen to the owner, check yourself
Great job folks. Question- why did the Jeep lose all juice? Short? Fry? Anyone have a multi meter?
I just would like to say it truly is amazing to see how far the mats off-road recovery crew has came since I've started watching this channel . Lizzie I have to say you're amazing young lady You're willing to do whatever is ask and you do it with style and grace Jamie you're fantastic navigator Great job and all the rest of the crew fantastic work
It’s really awesome seeing a young person learn and progress in her trade. Lizzy is cool.
Hands down the best representation of MORR. Surprises around every corner. Good work team!
Not only is the Moorvair built tough..Matts driving skills always impress me...Jamie awesome display of direction ...glad you were rewarded and of course..Lizzie and Heffe..Solid members of the team...Way to Get em Out Team
I’ve done a fair amount of offloading in my Jeep. But never with a “lazy eye”. Nicely done!
3:19 , Andrew Camarata would say that "it broke for no good reason" LOL 🤣🤣
ive got 3 dana 60 kingpin axles, i hate to think about having a knuckle failure, i have snapped a short side axle tube, but was close to help. great attempted driving skill matt, that took alot of manipulation to maneuver morvair out, all the while still focusing on completion of the recovery, great job DUDE!!!
broke that same knuckle on a RAM 2500, off road shenanigans.
I held my breath way too many times during this one! Amazing problem solving and resourcefulness, as usual!
I'm betting the issue with that jeep was the auxiliary battery from what I've seen online. Good thing to look into for the future if this happen, a simply phone call telling him what to do to bypass it would have saved a lot of hassle if that was the problem.
Yep. Dead in the water JL = Aux Battery issue. Easy to fix.
Matt needs to watch @Lite Brite video on how to bypass the aux battery to get it to fire up.
That’s my guess as well……
@@raymonast4753 Great info guys.
How far has Lizzie come!? One of the very nicest people on UA-cam. Great things ahead for her.
Love it at about 7:42 into video when Lizzy was trying to play Trevor and about fell down. LOL...🤣
What a brilliant video. We could all learn from Matts calm demeanor under pressure. Plus, just how awesome is the Morrvair! It breaks down, rescues itself and helps out the Banana!!
Wow, Lizzy, you have really developed your skills and confidence in being a major contributor to the team. It has been a pleasure watching you learn and apply your talents with the commentary, videotaping and equipment operation. Nice work!
Yes it's me again. Just a PS to let you know I regularly watch and enjoy your videos, and really appreciate the design and engineering talent you have, and display, while building your specialised vehicles. Keep it all up, and more success to you and your whole team.
Regards, Nev.
Liz had done a great job, and Morrvair desire a break and makeover. Well done, Matt and team.👏
Great job everybody. Lizzie please don't change a thing you are doing a fantastic job on camera, love the positive attitude and smile.
She’s the best
Yes !!!! 6.0 with the LSA you going to love it.
I will always respect Jaymie for being the greatest support pillar. And she has a beautiful soul.
Thank you for being who you are ma’am
And who recovers a broken car with a broken car? Matt😂!!!
Even a broken Morvair is competent enough for a rescue and a self rescue. BTW, the backward slash at the end of the video is perfect.
I've heard of independent front suspension, but never independent front steering, lol. Very impressive seeing the Morrvair power its way through the problems.
The MORRVAIR is a BEAST! Broken but still recovering 🤘🤘
It was so cool and cute watching Lizzy in front of the camera like she was. Lizzy does a great job at every thing she does!
Have been watching your videos for several months now and we are hooked 😃. My wife and I do off roading with our 4 runner but nothing like what you do.
Haha the kiss for the navigation job, looks like a good marriage right there! Lovin' it
Enjoy your videos so much!!! It sure seems like its nice working for Matt!!! You guys are all great
That had my eyes popping! Great job by Lizzy at single-handedly picking up the Morvair!!
Yet another recovery by the MORR team but this one was way "MORR" tricky than ever before it seems. You guys are seriously fun and entertaining to watch!!! Love me some MORR!!
This recovery in particular was a real challenge! Great job with extricating the customer and yourselves 👍
I liked these videos an ok bit before, but after going out for the first time, driving off-road in my old L-200 (-92) I can appriciate these videos and what it involves so much more!
It’s a hard terrain and it’s always something. Happening. Great job everyone.
12:46 _”Just a little more horsepower is all that we needed.”_
Jamie should put that on a shirt!
The flat bed for "blue steel " is a great idea. Have a good look at what the Aussies build. They have plenty storage space and they look great.
Lizzie showing her skill with that loading, then you get her welding skills. Lizzie, you are a massive bonus to Matt. I know this is "Matt's" off road recovery, but Lizzie puts in work AND is a skilled fabricator.
Great job
They should call it Mattzzies Off-Road Recovery 😂
She’s a beauty too 😏👍🏻
I wish I was half as good at life as her.
She could use some load strapping lessons though.
Lizzy great recovery on the near fall! Y’all have a great safe day.
Comment I been looking for lol if it’s not one it’s another someone has to fall
Lizzy is awesome! Tom-Tom, on the other hand... well... he may be a wee bit slow to catch things. That's the second time I think you'd have been better off checking the towed vehicle's current state yourself, rather than just him. Yanking on that while it was still in gear had me yelling at my screen. lol.
Another great vid folks. Well done.
I don't care what the customer says. ALWAYS check that the transfer case and transmission are in neutral.🤦🏻♂️
I agree Lizzy is awesome!
Love watching your videos. It's -2 here in laramie wyoming and this warms my heart!
-10 here in the mountains of Montana.
Wow. This was the most amazing video MOR put out. I would never dream you could drive that MORRvair out like that, but leave it to Matt to getter dun. Wow again!
Way to go guys and Lizzy was awesome getting the Morrvair by herself. Great stuff guys👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Lizzy, you have come a long way since your 1st episode. I always enjoy your input. Great video.
