I'd give anything to see this game and franchise make a comeback. There's way too much passion put into this for it to just be forgotten. I own both the Xbox and Switch versions. This was one of the best rpg experiences I ever had.
Man, the passion the artists and animators put into this work and these characters REALLY shows! I can't wait til October 8th!
I backed on kickstarter the project in 2015. After 4 years hopefully it will be worth the wait.

Sigh. Seeing Sangmu towards the end (2:05) just breaks my heart. This game deserved the DLC that the dev's couldn't deliver. At this point, I would accept just Antoine and Sangmu, not even all of the other guest characters. Hell, I'll accept just Sangmu. Lab Zero dissolving right as the game was in its final stretch is just a tragedy, and I don't think I'll ever not be sad about this game falling by the wayside. It's got too much heart to flop like it did (and I mean flop as in popularity, I'm sure it made plenty of money). Well wishes to the members of 505 games. Rest in peace, Indivisible.
Is there any word on where the devs went after this game? What if Wayforward bought them out or something like that? I like to think that there's some hope for this game to live on in future ports or for its gameplay style to continue on in another franchise.
@@alecperdeau650really late, but most of the devs banded together to make the studio Future Club, which is currently working on more updates for Skullgirls and has a secret project or two in the works i think

This game lowkey flew under a lot of people's radars and I genuinely feel like this games deserves so much more than that. It ain't perfect, but it's got charm and is a fairly solid game in my books. I played it to the finish and hold this in a special place in my heart.
I feel the same way dude. I played it cuz my online friend said he really liked it and I got it for my birthday in 2021. Man, it's on my top 5 favorite indies after finishing it

@@miltonpmp96 Gurren Lagann was animated by Gainax. While the series was directed by Trigger Co-Founder Hiroyuki Imaishi, the show aired in 2007, four years before Trigger was founded.

This is the first game I was compelled to 100% and do every side quest cause these characters truly meant something to me. I love every single one of them.
It's too bad we can't truly 100% it cause the DLC is currently bugged.

Animation wise defintely up there. Music didn't feel like it matched up to it though, just felt a little disjointed.

@@Wolvenworks Those were many of the same animators back when they were in Gainax. Most of those cuts were Hiroyuki Imaishi. Admittedly I can only pick out Yoh Yoshinari's cuts in this particular opening.
Chronic Mids Hideako Anno and his animation team left Gainax in 2006 to form Studio Xapa (Khara). Imaishi and his other pals left Gainax, 5 years later, to form Trigger. The last thing Imaishi did for Gainax was Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, while the last anime made by Gainax was Wish Upon the Pleiades, which was created by Shouji Saeki as a collaboration for Subaru. But right now, they are working on a movie trilogy called “Zero Century.” Yep, it’s existing.
Why not? They make animation so if a gaming studio can pay their price they will make it.
@@MrMarinus18 Honestly, now I kinda just want a Studio Trigger fighting game. Whether something totally original, or a crossover game between various franchises (mainly anime) they worked on, I think their style would just be perfect for it.
As a proud backer of this game, I can't wait for this game to arrive.

Same plus I'm a fan of Valkyrie Profile a jrpg gem. They used those gameplay elements mixed with Southeast Asian folklore/mythology hurry up October 8
When I saw Trigger I couldn't click fast enough. I'd thought this game got lost in dev until it cropped back up. It looks even better than I remember

This is the type of opening that reminds me why I love the art of animation in the first place
I agree that the animation from Trigger is superb but let's not allow the breathtaking music be forgotten here.
This game has had an amazing journey, and the support from fans as well as the sheer dedication of the developers has truly made this a spectacle to be had

Just incase anybody is wondering, the symbol on the back of the word/title "indivisible" is the symbol for the "third eye" in the human chakra system. Also known as the pineal gland in the center of our brain, it's sort of like a second brain or a "spirit" gland
Obviously, located in the middle of your forehead.(Hence why when this girl transforms, she has a third eye there); nevertheless, I am interested in this and can't wait to see how it plays. :)
This needs an actual anime adaptation

I'd watch this as a anime if it get's done, it's mainly the handdrawn art style the really makes a difference and sells me towards it.
went in expecting a subpar intro even after all this time...I have never been so happy to be wrong in my life, the animation and attention to detail in even the inbetween frames is spectacular, this definitely was worth the wait, both on a music standpoint and animation standpoint. breathtaking to be honest

I thought this was for an anime and all along I was like "wow that's a video game I'd want to play". And then it turned out to be a video game \o/

Ah really fluent animation on each detail, it brings the entire game bumped within that sight, of our own eyeballs and thumbs will enjoy this game.

@@Trainboy1EJR I played the first few hours yesterday and i really like it thus far! It's a unique blend of platforming and jrpg battles with a staggering amount of playable characters. And the character design is AMAZING! My only complaint so far is that boss battles can have some serious difficulty spikes.

I preordered this game the second it became available on Gamestop even when they did not have a release date for it. Did not regret for a second and now that I know it is coming next month I could not be more excited. Next month will be crazy with amazing new games!
