But a bit disappointing it is not original considered there are LED panels of suitable dimensions that are far less than the extra cost of this controller. The use may have been limited. But still, just a sync of the eyes to Astros in game or something would have been neat.
It looks great! Me personally, I do think it is much needed for the eyes just so it can stand out of more of an Astro-themed controller whereas, without the eyes, it's just a cool-designed controller. But yeah, I do wish that the eyes were animated in some way, or is lit up by LED at least, but I know that'd cause some battery drainage issues.

I think this is the first time Sony has truly invested in the design of the controller. It genuinely feels exclusive. The entire character of the robot is conveyed excellently, rather than just being a controller with an existing color and the game's logo printed on it... I want more like that from future Limited Editions
I got the controller today, im a bit disappointed that there is no animation in the eyes. That is the reason I got the controller because in the trailer, they move. Overall, it's comfortable in the hands, and the gloss blue sides are really silky smooth, unlike the plain controllers where you can feel the texturing. It's a great design. I just think it's a little misleading in the promotion.
I know it's just a Dual Sense with some Astro Bot design... but I could not help myself and had to order one right with the game! And yes, I very much love the eyes on the touch pad - I think they really make it come to life as an Astro Bot item!
Jeez! This guy already has the Astro Bot controller in his hands and the shop i pre-ordered 3 weeks ago is still telling me my order will be ready at the start of October. I have to wait a whole month more to get it.

I have PS5 since last November and didn't pick up Astronomy until recently. It's actually one of the best platformers I have ever played, so I will definitely buy it. It looks even more fun

Man if only the eyes were lit up in blue LED Lighting with moving Animation on the Dualsense Touch Pad it would be epic, but sadly the Astro bot blue eyes is just printed. I also pre ordered the limited editions Astro bot dualsense controller, mine is definitely coming at my doorstep tomorrow.

Astro bot is a great game. My 4 year old loves it, I love it as an adult who plays mainly souls like games or some rpg stuff, and it even has my mrs playing it now and then, and she plays nothing usually. In the wake of concord, suicide squad and star wars outlaws, astrobot and wukong have given me faith that good games are still being made. And with space Marine 2 looking really good, there's new games out that are actually worth getting. Astro is a game for everyone. I wish they made more games like this available for ps5. Simple but perfect.
Me and my 5 year old son have been excited for this game ever since playing Astros playroom this year. I’m glad I bought a ps5 in June now me and him can enjoy this masterpiece later today and this weekend
Missed opportunity with glow in the dark eyes. It could have been an automatic happy eye face when turned on then u can choose to keep the eyes activate or them off by default to avoid battery draining quicker.
