@@GovKidMethod Just ordered your book. I too have held onto my job and been frightened after realizing there's jail time if this is done illegally. But my job isn't secure, and I need to dive full time into trying to win bids. Worst that can happen is that I have to job hunt again in 7-8 months, but my job wasn't going to last that long anyway. Job security is an illusion (and time waster).
GovCon needs my full attention. I've kept my job for 2 months as I've learned about this - formed an LLC, gotten my cage code, set up banks accounts, etc. But my job is trying to push me out, which oddly has eaten the past 4 weeks... I have to remember how to do this legally, stay below the acquisition threshold, build my construction business, and use similarly situated entities. But my job is not only gonna end, it's sucking my time and energy until I'm paralyzed.
