I learned so much from you today. I just watched three videos about mango trees and pruning. I never knew. Thanks for sharing and doing these videos. ❤🎉
I use a mix of Bees wax, Coconut oil with Tea tree oil. It's natural and seals it while the tree scabs the wound over. This at varied ratios works on a wide array of items, Leather care to skin care.
Great video Chris very informative for us beginners. I do have a question Would it be ok to treat the open wounds with a product called IV Organics 3-in-1 plant guard after making my cuts. Apparently it’s suppose to protect the wound from the suns rays and prevent insects and rodents from infesting the tree. Thank you I appreciate your videos.

Definitely to do info….thx Chris.
Usually a 45° cut downward slope is recommended and a fungicide is to be applied to the cut portion.

No, sorry, we don't know of anyone who sells sugar apples in that area. Best of luck in your search for sugar apples!
'Pine Island Fruitscapes' is worth a try
is it necessary to put fungicide on the cut areas?
For our mango trees here at the farm, we do not treat the cut back stump areas with any fungicides as a matter of practice.
Nothing left 🥭
Hi which cutter are you using?
Corona
@@manoyski3555 thanks for this info. I’m buying one at HD today to trim my trees due to the frost we had in December in Orlando.
