    Great video, toughest part are the screws. Do you have the part number for this actuator? Thanks

    removing that back screw is basically impossible. How did you do that??

      The one under the dash? oh man that was tough, I had a u joint type extension on a very small ratchet and it took some time.

    I'm having a heck of a time removing that back screw. I'm thinking about buying a flexible screwdriver to reach in there. Can you I ask how you got that out? Also - the a leg blower tube is in the way of this actuator. How did you get that out? I thought it would snap out but it's pretty stubborn.

      Yes, I had to remove that tube, I think it just pops off but I don’t know for sure and I don’t have the car anymore
      I used a small ratchet to get that back screw, a very stubby screwdriver might work too

      Hi. Do you recall if you had the symptom of cold in one vent and warm in the other when this was broken?

    • @charliehatton3781
      @charliehatton3781  3 роки тому

      @@nvdice I think it was all hot or cold, the motor switches from heat to cold for all vents I think

      @@Cdcninersmy issue turned out to be this as well as my evap core. Unfortunately a 3k repair because of the 10 hours to disassemble the entire dash to swap out the core and $110 to replace the actuator.
