My 2005 GMC Yukon XL had the exact same problem. I took it to a car repair shop, very reputable in our town, and they replaced coil number 3. I got out on the road and within 20 minutes it was misfiring again. I took it back and they said the coil they put on was defective and replaced it with another one. Then within 20 miles that one started misfiring as well. I've been searching the internet for a possible secondary problem and looks like I found it through your video. Truck is running like a fresh engine again. 240,000 miles and still a gem. Big thank you, Sir! Keep up the good work.

I just had a similar incident. one of my brand new coil packs shorted out and blew the fuse for the entire drivers side cause if all four cylinders to not fire. All codes came back saying o2 sensors bad map sensor bad mass airflow sensor bad. Fuel pump etc. GM needs to make the fuses for individual coils. Instead of just one per side

Terence, You are dog-ass mean working in that ice. My hat is off to you! I haven't been working on my own vehicles since before the injectors. Just changed plugs, then got the engine light, then replaced wires. Diagnostic tool at the auto parts said #8 so replaced the coil. Light went off but three days later its back. So suspecting something similar. I don't think I'm up for this for fear of doing more damage than good. I have a way of doing that. Don't pay any mind to the "throwing parts" comment you got. Appreciate the video. Now I know what I'm gonna pay for.

You can unbolt all 4 bolts on the fuel rail (2 on each side), then completely pull up the side you're replacing the injector on, (make sure to blow everything off first and not get any crud on the tips of the good injectors), and remove all the wiring on the ignition coil rail and then unclip the bad injector, wiggle it out, grease the o rings on the new injector, pop it in, clip it in place and reverse the procedure, making sure the side of the fuel rail you popped out completely pops baxk in all the way and none of the o rings slipped off upon removal

You should swap the injector with another and see if the code pops up for that cylinder.
