Travel mode is cool while you in dark room. You can disable regular tracking, but travel mode still make you able to use controllers ptoperly like its lights on
It's cute and all but... in which travel setting can this be used? Anything beyond just watching a movie (Which is a problem since many movies are longer than a Quest 3's battery charge life) is VR usable? Flailing hands without seeing the outside world is not a great thing to do on a plane, train or car.
There are lots of low-movement games I'm sure you could play. Besides, watching media in VR is huge. Even just casual YT watching, like this video. If the battery is about to run out mid-movie you charge it as you're using it.
I've got a very small portable battery that extends the life of my Quest to over 4 hours, and it's below the capacity that's allowed on a plane, so no issues there. Many planes also have outlets at the seats now, so depending on the length of your flight, you may be able to get 3 or 4 movies in with some breaks in between for charging.
Buying a Quest is cheaper than a Business Class Ticket. Just saying.
Business class to Australia is €3200.....or 6 Quests.....or 85% of an Apple Vision Pro. 😂
@@BlackMarketHoney lmao
Could you make more community posts? I feel like I’m not seeing you in my feed. Or getting any notifications.
This will be great for when I travel from the couch to the kitchen! 😃
"Play interactive games like Connect Four and Chess" Woohoo! Go Lufthansa!
So I guess this would work in a car too? I can relax and watch something while my Chauffeur (wife) drives me around? LOL
Lmao

0:08 THANK you for using Angry Birds VR. That game hardly gets used as an example.
Cool feature but i'll never use my headset on a plane at least not until we reach glasses size devices😂
so travel mode is like the next passthough ??

How do you disable it
Okay, lets try onboard a vessel
in the new update it makes you verify if your 13 or under and it takes 2490 years to set up and in the end it messes up EVERYTHING
im so confused, by travel mode, it seems more smooth, and i notice it uses surfaces for stablization but im so confused lmaoooo
Can this work in cars too?
Meta says it’s currently only supported on airplanes, but you can try a car and tell me how that goes.
posting from a car now
