Kirk almost literally started a fire with that intro solo, it was the best one he's done yet probably since he recorded it.
I do think he even played it better during that concert than on the studio album

That was a cool opening solo from the Hamster. Sounding very much like it should. Killer track. One of the first things I learned to play on the guitar as well as it happens.
Kirk was a big influence on me as well. And the whole band is just killing it here.

The opening solo is great! Wow! You also see James looking appreciative in Kirk’s direction and Kirk cannot hide his smile afterwards. This made my day!! Looking very much forward to see them in this shape twice the coming month!!! 🤘🏻

Kirks guitar faces are getting even better! James is aging like fine wine, to be able to sing a song that you wrote when you were 18 when you’re almost 60 is godlike. Lars is really getting back on track, and rob slays as always! This is the Metallica that I know and love!

Agreed, his playing is the tighest it's been since the 90s, this is the best the whole band has sounded in decades. I guess taking time off in 2020-2021 helped all of them

Yes, for a while Kirk was really very inaccurate and "out of round". Not clean and not at his best. You can tell that's changed and he loves what he's doing more than ever - that's how I want to see it!

No remorse is very easily one of the best songs in metal history. Literally has it all; it’s on one of (if not the first) the first thrash albums and it’s so fucking groovy and heavy. Just badass

You can hate Kirk if you’d like but there’s no denying that when he’s in his groove he becomes the best out there, maybe not the most technical but the most passion driven imo. And for me that’s what music is about.

No hay manera que estén sonando así, ajustadísimos, sonoramente impecables, hiper coordinados, con gran " groove" si no amaran lo que hacen desde hace más de 40 años. Metallica es un ejemplo de RISE AND FIGHT. Los escucho desde los 16, los vi en 1993 ( 7 y 8 de mayo llorando como un niñato emocionado)y 1999 en Argentina y no lo voy a olvidar jamás. Que suerte Brasil!! Estuvieron tocando No Remorse!! ( y Blackened!) Están en un gran momento y me siguen alegrando la vida.
