CRICKY kimsey you have been busy, interesting technic you got going on there,it really does make them look they are very old, very COOL. Keep the dream alive son Aussie Aussie Aussie GDAY MATE from brisbane Australia
Good morning, Kimsey. You sure come up with interesting ways to enhance your bowls. Amazing outcomes. Box Elder is a very unique looking wood. Looking forward to your next project.
Howdy Ray! I guess working with my dad in the cabinet shop may have influenced me a little bit on the glazes antiquing and Distressing cabinets sometimes here and there, and when I see the chisel tear out I’m thinking 🤔 I see a great opportunity for some glazes and maybe I can make it look like the bowl was supposed to look like that 😄 Cracks and tear out just seem to look a little nicer with some black added in, I’ve got some more ideas of different colors I’ve been pondering on, I’ve got a new one I’m currently working on of Ambrosia maple 🍁 Have a good one buddy 🤝
Sorry i'm late, somehow i missed it when it came out, love the gran on those bowls plus the red markings, even after the one that broke and you glued up looks a treat, great work again. Well i do reckon spring is here, sunshine all day today, got some shallots and onions plus broad beans planted today. Big weekend coming up Easter change the clocks and end of the month 3 months gone already. Take care All the best from Lincolnshire UK
Howdy Gary! no worries buddy, And thanks a bunch I appreciate it 😎 Yep the time change 🤦♂️ Kinda wish they would leave it where the evenings were the longest, we’ve also started some seeds to, still a little cold to put them out over here, crazy weather we have here, you will think winter is over then back down below freezing, in May is the safest time here by the time the frost stops, All the best to you to and Hope you have a great Easter weekend 🤝
