Yeah it’s definitely too much compared to irl , not to say it doesn’t feel mental quick and fun. But LMU feels and handles much more inline with what seems to be the irl cars! Thanks for commenting :)
Ok, ill be the controversial one. The iracing lap is closer to the resl life 499p spa lap record. Its faster bit closer. Second. I love how the sim rscing community gets in here and talks about whas more realistic to drive. When the vast majority of sim racers have never driven sny car on a track, let slone even sat in a hypercar/LMP/LMDH. Yes, we can agree the deployment system is inaccurate which probably leads to the slightly faster lap times. But, irs ing worled directly with the Scuderia Ferrari race team, the cars devolopers, and the drivers to devolop the car. The ferrari team approved the car snd frim what ive read, das its the best sim version of the car in how it drives snd feels. So for a bunch of people who have never even seen that car in person, never deiven on the track, no experience st sll nesides on a sim, to come out snd say how unrealistic one is, is just kind if funny, to me snyway. Idk which is more real. I have a ton of track experience, snd have driven real rsce cars, but nothing even remotely similar to the 499. So, i have no clue. But, just funny seeing sll the "iracings car is so unrealistic eith its handling" comments from people who hsve literally mo clue. Only a hadful of people in the world actually do, and those exact people sre who helped iracing eoth the car and approved it.
The hybrid model system is not modeled at all correctly. Approving a car for iRacing has a low bar, clearly, if Ferrari think a constant 4wd is a true representation of the 499p. LMU simulates the FIA regulations on deploy and regen torque as well as a working braking migration. But iRacing is not really a simulation, it's a very advanced simcade with excellent match making.
Ohh man, i really hope you don't have to play iRacing with this stuttering & unsmooth picture. But on technical side i would understand, because iRacing performed worst of all Racing SIM's out there on today's hardware. I will never understand why iRacing payers accept this bad state for so long. New Graphics-Engine & UI/UX is long overdue
I had just redone all my graphics so FPS was a bit all over the place! lot more sorted now.. but i agree having put a lot more hours into LMU it looks better AND runs better my CPU isnt crying all the time like in iRacing.. this new graphic update cant come soon enough! thanks for commenting!
The Iracing grip and power is insane. LMU seems more realistic.

I offer my thoughts and feelings on my longer comparison video! Check it out on my page :)
Wonderful to see the iR 499P deploying at all times, essentially making it a permanent 4WD, just like irl
Yeah unrealistic… yes but really cool to drive ! Thing is a rocket! More you lean on it the more it gives!
Thanks for the comparison, but Speeds of LMU were instresting too :)
thanks! i now realised the dashboard doesnt have the speed displayed! but you can visually see the cornering speeds a lot lower!
ferrenzo p49 is king of simracing when it comes to the 499p,

Iracing is no sim anymore. at least in the GTP car class
Why
@Realfarr because they don't simulate the real thing; GTPs way too fast and the hybrid system is kind of a joke
I cover this in my other video! I like how both drives HOWEVER one is realistic the other is just a boosted rocket ship !
agreed

i have no idea either, theyre paying insane amounts of money for a mid sim that just has a huge playerbase...
