The hybrid model system is not modeled at all correctly. Approving a car for iRacing has a low bar, clearly, if Ferrari think a constant 4wd is a true representation of the 499p. LMU simulates the FIA regulations on deploy and regen torque as well as a working braking migration. But iRacing is not really a simulation, it's a very advanced simcade with excellent match making.

I had just redone all my graphics so FPS was a bit all over the place! lot more sorted now.. but i agree having put a lot more hours into LMU it looks better AND runs better my CPU isnt crying all the time like in iRacing.. this new graphic update cant come soon enough! thanks for commenting!

I think some of the cars are very realistic but it seems like all the hybrid cars are a joke. I think they are worried about people finding exploits if they give them too much control.

AC modders are a different breed! I loved the simracing604 vid of the Peugeot hypercar ! That car looked and sounded amazing! Did they do the alpine too?

@PizzamanPete11_YT Yes, and it's amazing. Try the Dallas (Cadillac hypercar) from URD, the best hypercar in AC, Really amazing, the custom tyre model is amazing and the sound is better than LMU, iRacing or AMS2

Sadly no driver swaps yet so no team racing for now. But I think some members are trying it out.. I know max was very critical of RF2 in the past so not sure he will be seen there at the moment!

Max uses iRacing because he is addicted to "competing" and iRacing due to its unrealistic physics, makes it a good mental discipline exercise. But there isn't ANYTHING in iRacing that has simulation value to THAT point, not in a million years... lololol...

@@PizzamanPete11_YT Same year, Max and his team (with him on that specific car): at iRacing's Daytona, his team lost connection several times and dropped several laps and ran the rest of the race bump drafting their other GT3 car -- again, lol, realism zero; And at Sebring, Max was taken out by a typical iRacing netcode incident, with his car trashed by a phantom contact so absurd that more than half a car would fit between the two cars... and in the meantime, other incidents happened... yet, ZIPPO... lolol... Did the latest LMV brutally disappoint? Yes, no doubt, but to be honest, some of the top people that MSG ousted after buying S397 were simply incompetent and that disaster ended up catalysing the energy need to 'cleanup the house' and to take the PMotor from 2.0 to 3.0.

I agree took me a while to find good ffb - I used the simagic preset as a base so can only speak to that! The discord is helpful , people are asking all the time about it! Might find something ! James Baldwin also did a video about it, the smoothing setting helps a lot filter noise out of the ffb 👍🏻

Yeah it’s definitely too much compared to irl , not to say it doesn’t feel mental quick and fun. But LMU feels and handles much more inline with what seems to be the irl cars! Thanks for commenting :)

@valter_vava74 uh i own all of the sim titles with dlcs, its just that iracing feels the best by far. Especially the setups LMU takes apart my entire house unless im using insane dampening for the ffb which alone is absolutely retarded. i also dont like the brakes in LMU at all. Even though i am pretty precise and know what to do, it sometimes locks up for what feels like randomization to me

When I bought tgt2 I was thinking that's it's that's what I need, and when people saying thrustmaster low quality, flexing, and other things I say it's don't bother me and I don't care, however until I decide I realy like sim racing and I bought simagic mini, which gt neo and just round gt1 wheel for rally. And also I bought new aliumium profile rig. When I set up everything and race, just thinking how much I wasted my time and money on thrustmaster s...t, honestly, I have different rims, tlcm pedals, shifters, and sold for nothing and lost a lot of money, but hey lesson learned and now I can recommend for people who realy thinking to get in sim racing. Do not waste time and money, go for decent stuff and safe money in long term run. Hope it helps you.

@@joost1183 yes! I have: 100% ffb Smoothenes 1 Wheel rotation 0 Forcefeedback detail 3 Torque 10nm Mechanical damper 6% Friction 6% Inertia 0% Frequency 3 That’s my iracing settings and then use auto or close to it in the iracing game - usually around 33nm though

@@PizzamanPete11_YT You don't only hear it, you feel it through the whole wheel when it cracks and pops, even with noise cancelling ear buds. I really wanted to like this thing but it's been a disappointing experience for me. The grips are still as new though.

Yes so the new 360hz ffb filter from iracing has fixed a lot of that as I can wind back the interpolation filters so yeah less robotic . Ffb on iracing in general isn’t as good as other titles but when you are used to it it’s more than good enough imo !

I tested with zero interpolation filter on my csl dd in AC. And it felt robotic. I know what will means npw, and I think you can make any base feel like that if you're settings are set a certain way. I didn't know what they meant until I felt and heard it myself

Yes totally! I had to play with my settings after the update to 360hz to get it right .. it’s really about playing with the dials until it feels how you like it. Person preference. :) our hobby is never easy 😂

It’s a DNR base! I just edited it a bit , if you get into the simhub side of things it’s powerful in what you can do ! I changed colours and added my own bits as I said in my video! Unfortunately I can’t share it as it’s the paid version 4.0
