The 2nd cake was my favorite for sure !! Love how she put such a beautiful touch on it !! Also I wish you would make one now... same design but scale it down a little if you want. I'd love to see how you choose to re create the cake you had them look at for inspiration.

The second cake has a depth and richness to it that the first cake doesn't. I feel it gives more of a WOW! vibe. The first cake is really cool but the colors of the second are amazing.
I think this is a wild example of what an impact changes like color or little details can make to a design!
I actually think a colour combination of emerald green and copper could be soooo pretty. I've never pictured that colour combination but now I think it would be beautiful.

I think they both did a fantastic job. Same cake, so similar, yet so very different. The 'glass' flowers are brilliant!

Both were _amazing_ , crazy effort and skills. I could see the 1st being more bridal and it leans more traditional but the 2nd cake made me GASP 🤯 the piping looked like melted copper and the flowers literally look like metal. They also captured the moodiness so beautifully✨

I can’t decide which one I like more. I feel like the second one is executed better, but there’s something about the flowers and whimsical nature of the first came that makes it my favorite. I wish the first cake was bluer and the second cake was more orange lol.

800$ is ridiculous for 3 layers of Styrofoam and a 25$ cake on top... Its pretty but this was a waste of money honestly
this is such an old comment but dummy cakes actually cost about as much money to make as real cake does - buying styrofoam vs baking a cake doesn't have that much of a price difference, and the money you're spending on custom cakes is almost always about the decorating. dummy cakes are genuinely only used when you want a big cake but dont want leftovers (which is what was explained in this video), because the amount of work that goes into it is not that different.
for the cake to be fully cake, it probably would have only costed somewhere in the range of 100-300 or so more, depending on how much of a profit the bakery is wanting to make (price range there may be slightly off because im trying to work with a different currency and economy in my head and translate it to usd/cad)
@@irrelevancyiskey9992 Thank you for this detailed answer. I must admit, I also felt like 800$ were way too much, but I can see what you mean. I understand that the styrofoam has to be decorated too, which is the most expensive part of the whole cake, but I always thought styrofoam was much much cheaper than baking a cake.

I think they are both gorgeous! I can't see any bride being mad at either one. I do love, however, how each baker had their own take on the AI design and, in my opinion, elevated it. You just can't beat human artistry. 🤷♀💖

The second cake is AMAZING. Those flowers literally look like organic flowers that grew from copper! The blue in the center of them fits so well!
The first cake is AI brought to life and it's really lovely, but that second cake nailed it for me. The darker color and the stunning, intricate flowers were honestly remarkable. I think it's the organic artistry of the second cake which persuaded me.
I like how the cake is kind of a combination of both the emerald and copper cake. Yes I know it's meant to look like oxidized copper, but I'm seeing emerald and I think it makes it better. Copper just goes well with green. Overall faithful, while bringing some cool new ideas.
Both cakes are beautiful in their own ways. #1 is my favorite.

I like the size and colors of the second one best, but I appreciate the first ones ambition for an exact copy and I think they damn near nailed it to a T! If these cake artists had teamed up, you'd almost definitely have that AI cake!

The second cake is my favorite because there's more drama in the color of the actual cake. She added the copper sponging color around the top of each tier. I think that helps pull the whole cake together. That being said, I would be absolutely overjoyed to have a cake by either of these decorators. So truly talented!!!
Love the copper color and isomalt translucent flowers from the 1st cake and the moody blue from the 2nd. Both are UNBELIEVABLE and gorgeous!!

I think the style is more spot in with the first but the colour and proportions are more on point in the second
I prefer the first cake because it tells me that the baker can really bring my vision to life. It stays true to what I might want.

Both did an amazing job but the second cake really had that professional, clean look that I think makes a whole difference! I actually loved the piping flower design much more than the swirls as it felt more coherent with the rest of the cake but great job to both 😍

I think if I gave that picture to a bakery and got either of those back I would be thrilled with the outcome. Neither would have me wishing they did something better or different, because they both look absolutely beautiful and I don't think one of them looks more like the picture than the other if that makes sense.

I think they are both great, but the second one is my favorite colour wise, and also I like that they made the decoration less random swirls and into abstract flowers
The second cake blew it out of the water!!! I love the iredecsent blue shimmer copper flowers, the glass ones, the copper flower lace, the fondant underneath... I can't stop staring. It's gorgeous! They both did amazing! ❤

I love LOVE the second cake. I love how metallic the copper is and the blue spray in the flowers instead of the jewels actually makes it look even more metallic. As for the flavor I'd make a dark chocolate cake with orange flavoring and a chocolate buttercream, yum.

The marble on the second cake and the detail on the flowers are next level. The first is more light, airy feel to it. Like spring vs fall.

I really loved both of them but I think the second bakery changing the design of the piping to resemble actual flowers rather than squiggles makes the cake even more beautiful than the one designed by AI. So overall I choose the second one but the first baker really nailed the AI’s design and gave you exactly what you asked for! Great job to both bakers!
1st cake is an amazing copy but the 2nd one is absolutely the winner. The flowers especially, look sooooo pretty. Loved it.

The problem with the A.I. cakes is that Karen googles cakes and finds an A.I. cake and brings it in to us and says "do this, someone else did so you should be able to do it too, oh and my budge is $80 and I need to feed 300 people" 😂😂😂
That's when I give Karen my price with a realistic sketch of what she can expect. And a copy of my contract which states I need 50% payment at booking, nonrefundable to secure the date on my calendar. Remaining 50% 2 weeks prior to her event in order for me to purchase supplies. No money no cake.

Both are gorgeous!!! I prefer the darker blue of the second cake, but I would be super happy with either at a wedding. So much work got into these cakes. Much respect for both bakeries. Love Archie with his toy 😍
Both were great in their own ways! I get a day/afternoon summer wedding vibe with cake 1 and an evening/ fall/winter vibe with cake 2.

The first one definitely did a better job of delivering the same design! If the second cake had more of an orange hue rather than rose gold it would also be a lot closer to the picture while still being it's own design almost.
I know they're both 5 star bakeries but it's just insane how amazing both cakes look!
