- The Sony 50mm f1.2 has some incredible features, boasting an amazing f1.2 aperture, does it live up to be the best lens for wedding videographers (and photographers)?
I go over a few of its many features and real world examples of us using it in a wedding day to see how it handles. After multiple weddings, this lens has become the best lens FOR ME on a wedding day.

Personally 35mm is my favorite video lens from Sony! Just a straight beast. 🙌🏽
I use the 35mm GM here a lot for these recordings and it is a great lens! That and the 24mm.. But I still can’t get away from the 50mm for weddings lol 😎
@@filmsbyaaronguerrero 35mm is just my sweet spot because I can easily crop and turn it into a 50mm 😎 plus 35mm captures sharp details.
Is this Sony 50mm a GM lens? Think I missed something?
totally agree man. sometimes I almost shoot the entire weddings with it. :D just in love with the look of it.
There’s really something about it that puts this thing apart from other lenses; including the GM series lenses!
This and the 135mm 1.8 (which I have to do a review on it!)
@@filmsbyaaronguerrero I would be interested in the 135 as well but I heard the autfocus sucks for video :/
@@bjoernfischer I would say totally different, I’ve had nothing but smooth and accurate AF with video; and the image/compression it produces are pretty incredible.
i really do not understand these boys showing so expensive lenses without dust covers :D

Hahaha I do clean them before any shoot but I am guilty of leaving them out in the open 🤦♂️
